Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien sighed and pulled out his phone, reading the new message from Orangutan Adrien read over the message and sighed. "And there's the assault." He muttered. Adrien glanced at Nicholas. "I'm guessing she asked you to meet her as well?" He questioned, running a hand through his hair. Adrien shoves his phone away after sending Aaron a: '👍' Adrien walked over to the attic exit for what felt like the 100th time that day, and looked back at Nicholas. Until his eyes traveled down to Trixie, who was purring sweetly. He frowned. What if dad did something to them while he was gone...

Nick Browns - Nick send Aaron a '👍 ' as well before putting his phone back into the front pocket of Adriens hoodie. "Yep, she did" Nick said evenly, meeting Adriens eyes. He got up, cradling the black and white cat in his arms, but hesitated to put her down. Nick was thinking the same thing as Adrien was. Though Nick had just met these cats, he quite liked them and would like to keep both of them out of harms way.

Adrien Pirla -☆- (Timr skip to cafe) Adrien plopped himself down in the booth furthest from the door. Aaron wasn't there quite yet, so it was just Nicholas and Adrien. Adriens leg bounced anxiously under the table while he tugged his lip ring between his teeth, looking over the menu to keep his eyes doing something. He was worried he would go home to find Ginger and Trixie missing, and that thought scared the sh1t out of him. He brought his arms up onto the table. He propped his elbows up and fiddled with a pearl bracelet around his wrist. He sighed, feeling highly restless. He finally met Nicholas' gaze. Adrien let the lip ring between his teeth go as he spoke. "Uhm... you can order what you would like. Aaron and I will pay." He muttered, sighing quietly once more.

Nick Browns - Nick slides into the booth Adrien picked, opposite of the dark haired boy. Nick watched him pull on his lip ring between his teeth, and fidget with his bracelet. Heat rose to his face and colored his cheeks. After realizing this, he looked away quickly. <jeez Nick, what are you doing? It's not like your gay for him or anything> he joked to himself in his mind, but this 'joke' triggered other, more serious thoughts. <...could... do I?.. no, I'm not gay... but-> Nick was ripped from his thoughts as Adrien spoke. "Uh- thanks, but I'm not hungry." He responded quietly, before returning to his thoughts. No, he couldn't be gay. But this was the only time he'd ever blushed, stared at someone's lips before or even considered trusting someone. No, no, it was way to early to even be thinking any of this. He just met this guy, they barely knew each other. Way to early to consider any of that...

Adrien Pirla -☆- Adrien gave him a highly skeptical look. He was ordering something for Nicholas. Non-negotiable. A waitress walked over and smiled, asking Adrien for his order. Adrien ordered himself a latte and some avocado toast. He didn't really know what Nicholas wanted... so screw that. He'd let Aaron bully him into eating. As if on cue, Aaron strides in, grinning widely as she greeted the barista's and waitress. She slid a hand around the waitress who was taking their order and grinned, plopping down next to Adrien. Aaron ordered what she wanted and looked at Nicholas, staring into his soul. When Nicholas didn't answer, Aaron looked back at the waitress and ordered for him. The waitress chuckled and nodded, jotting it down and walking away to get their drinks. "Hello..." Adrien muttered. Aaron grinned. "Hey, loves! How are you both?" Adrien sighed. He didn't want to drag this out. "Dad wants the cats out." He muttered. Aaron's smile fell almost immediately. "Even Ginger?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing. Adrien nodded as he picked at his hang nails. "He was holding him upside down earlier." He muttered. Aaron scoffed. "Fvcking stupid..." She muttered and sighed, shaking her head. She cast a weak smile at Nicholas. "How ya holdin' up?" She asked kindly.

Nick Browns - Nick pushed his thoughts away as Aaron appeared next to Adrien. Nick gave her a friendly smile as she sat down. He refused to talk when the waitress came through, not hungry, and not wanting to eat. He listened as the siblings talked and stored the information of the orange cats name in his mind. Now he just had to figure out the tuxedo cats name. As Aaron turned to him, he turned to look at her aswell. "I'm fine." He partially lied. Yes, he was a lot better than yesterday, but he still wasn't great.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Aaron turned to Nicholas and gave him a skeptical look. "Sure you are dear. Alright, now that we've confirmed, we're all depressed. I want you two to stick together for now. Since I'm in different classes, then you both, it'd easier for you to look after Nicholas." She said, addressing Adrien. Adrien stared at her for a moment longer before shrugging. "Okay. I have to tutor him anyway." He mumbled. Aaron smiled. "Great!" She chirped happily, grinning widely. "Anywayyyy, how are your days? All I know is that dad wants the cats out." She said, forcing a smile. Adrien smacked her on the back of the head. "Stop that." He grumbled. Aaron glared at him and huffed. "Miserable asshole." She muttered. "Dead orangutan." "Ass muffin." "Moldy carrot." "... Ouch Adrien." Adrien rolled his eyes and patted her in mock pity. "Cry about it, dear sister." He hummed. Aaron tolled her eyes and turned back to Nicholas.

Nick Browns - Nick was okay with sticking with Adrien for a bit. Adrien was still one the only people who knew about his father and the healing wounds on Nicks back. And if the scabs teared, Adrien would be there to help. Listening to the two siblings fight, Nick stiffled a laugh, but couldn't help the smile wedging onto his face. He remembered all the sibling fights he and his sisters used to have all the time. They would always end up resolving the problem afterward, and forgiving each other. None of them could ever hold a grudge. It had been a while since he'd talked or seen either of his sisters... maybe he should send them both a text. He still did have his phone from running from home.

Adrien Pirla -☆- Aaron grumbled in annoyance as she looked at Nicholas. Seeing the blond smile, a smile spread over Aaron's lips. Adrien glanced over, watching the waitress come back and set the food down. Aaron hummed, grabbing her fork and digging in. Adrien sighed, thanking the waitress and looking down at his food. Which was mostly fruit. Oh. Fruit was nice. Adrien grabbed his fork, picking at the strawberries as his relaxed. His eyes were looking over the assortment of fruits. Adrien looked more at ease when he saw the fruit and not eggs or something. Aaron finished her bacon and glanced at Nicholas. "Sooooooo, what do you guys wanna do?" She questioned, smiling around the piece of bacon.

Nick Browns - As the food came, Nicks plate was also mostly fruit with a two small pieces of avocado toast. Nick wasn't particularly hungry, and just picked up his fork solely for the purpose of maybe avoiding Aaron yelling at him to eat, and just poking at his food, but not actually eating. As Aaron spoke to the group, Nick looked up to meet her gaze. He wasn't really sure what he could do right now. He did want to go over to the beach, but he definitely wasn't going to ask to go. Either way, he couldn't go out swimming, not with the wounds and bandages. But it still would be nice just to lay on the beach. "I don't know" Nick mumbled on response to Aaron's question not wanting to ask for anything. He didn't want to be anymore of a burden to them than he already was.
