Chris bowed and walked back up towards his room. He opened his door to find a suit neatly folded on his bed. He sighed and walked over to it, a letter read, -this is for your wedding- Chris groaned and rolled into bed. Just when things were starting to brighten up someone had to remind of the forced marriage.

Annika sat down in her bed with a sigh. She laid back and stared at the ceiling for a minute before the world became blurry and tears ran down the side of her face. "What did I do to deserve this" she cried into her pillow. After a few minutes she fell asleep. She woke up early in the morning, almost beating the sun. She sat up, staring out the e window at the darkened shy. "Just a few more minutes" she groaned then buried her face in her pillow again.

Chris awoke with the sun beaming on his face. He smiled and got up, got changed, and walked out of his room. He looked for his parents and found them eating breakfast, "Good morning mother and father" he said bowing slightly. They nodded and Chris sighed pulling out a chair and sitting on it. "So what's the plan for today?" His mother replied in great enthusiam, "I am taking Princess Annika to go dress hunting for the wedding" Chris almost laughed at the thought of them going dress shopping together. "Well uh not sure she's gonna like that but ok then, I guess i'll just work on the house today" his mother gasped, "Oh no you will not, you are coming with us to do shopping" -Perfect...I hate shopping- he groaned and finished his breakfast.

Annika made her way to her vanity, pulling her hair up in a half up when a maid walked in. "Oh, hello" Annika said, standing and walking over to her. The young woman, about her age, curtsied. "Princess Annika, is there anything you would like me to help you with?" She asked as she stood straight. Annika smiled a little. "Yes. Can you help me with my hair?" She pulled the ponytail holder out of her hair and handed it to the maid. "Yes, Your Highness" she said, standing behind Annika and pulling some of the hairs to the back of her head. She arranged a beautiful flower-like pattern with the braided strands into a half up type style. Annika smiled "thank you! Oh it's beautiful! What is your name?" She spun around, looking into the eyes of the maid. "Thank you, Your Highness. I am Matilda" she smiled back at Annika and helped her pick out a dress. She chose a emerald dress that matched Annika's eyes and contrasted with her hair. Annika stepped into it then let Matilda leave, walking downstairs by herself. She made her way to the breakfast room, not catching the last part of the Queen and Chris's conversation. She winced at his groan, thinking it was because she had arrived. She sat across from Chris, taking a bite of an apple. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear then bumped his foot under the table.

Chris looked up from the table and couldn't help but smile. He bumped her back and whispered, "We're in for a fun adventure today" he said sarcastically. "C'mon now you two lovebirds lets get in the car" his mother said rather amusingly. Chris shuttered at the sound of "Lovebirds" and followed his mother out towards a new car. "Mother, you got a new car?" She smiled cheekily "No.....well maybe, just a little early wedding present". Chris shook his head and looked towards Annika, her dress looked rather beautiful on her and Chris would have said something if his mother wasn't standing right there.

Annika bit into her apple again as Chris spoke. "Well lucky for you, I like adventures" she gulped and looked away at the word "lovebirds". +not lovebirds... just two random people who are forced to get married+ she sighed and followed the Queen and Prince, listening a little to their conversation. She caught Chris looking at her so she gave a little pose, putting her hand on her hip and grinning. She got into the back seat and waited for the door to shut before speaking. "So where exactly are we going?"

Chris laughed at her pose and got into the car, "Some shop for wedding dressings" he winced at the sound of those words. He wanted to get to know Annika but not so fast. It was all too much

Annika gave a slight nod. "Ok... why so soon though?" She asked, tilting her head toward Chris. "Shouldn't we atleast have a few months? We've literally only known each other for two days. I can also just have a dress custom made instead of shopping" she had a dress that she had drawn out that she was saving, but she didn't exactly want to use it on an arranged marriage when she didn't even know or like the person. She wanted it to me mutual, love, and respect. She wanted her wedding to be like the ones in fairy tales, ones that had true love and fantasies that seemed to come true.

Chris yawned and looked out of the window of the car, he whispered, "Everything happens fast when your in this family" he looked towards his mother who was speaking rather quickly to the driver. "Don't worry I have a plan to escape for the afternoon so instead of shopping we'll go spend time in nature" he glanced up to his mother who seemed to have stopped talking now and was fussing over a small dirt mark on her brand new bag.

"Dress shopping sounds absolutely terrible. I would much rather run off with you than be stuck in a store trying on big puffy dresses I won't even have a chance at choosing. It would be pre chosen for me anyway" she sighed and looked over at Chris, her voice low. "I just hate being thrown around like a puppet on some strings" she shrunk in her seat, her elbow brushing his on accident
