"I'm more of a scratchy screamy Master of Puppets more often than not." He was a bit impressed by all the songs and singers she knew off the top of her head. And ones he knew. "Country and rock are amazing." He smiled slightly. Slowing down to a stop at a stop sign. The road was much less crowded when not in town. He much preferred it. "Yeah, that isn't very surprising." Tempe teased, smiling at him. "They are, aren't they? My parent's kind of music, I loved it." She nodded, glancing out the window and watching the scenery outside with curiousity. "So, do you like what you do?" She asked lightly.

It took me at least four tries to read her last question)) He smiled at her, she was already picking at him. Regardless of how suspicious and mildly frightening it was that she just showed up in his motel, knew his name and what he does for a living. Not to mention the whole Angel thing, he had decided he didn't mind her. "Ah, heritage taste. My dad always said the day they got married, her sung her Died in Your Arms." He laughed softly, pressing on the gas gently, back on track. He glanced over at her, a slight up-down look before looking back to the road. "I do sometimes," he looked like he was going to finish a sentence but he didn't.

It's a lot of dos)) Tempe was a very blunt person, especially when it came to introductions. She made fast friends with most people she met, simply because she acted like she was their friend until it became true. She tilted her head at him as he spoke, grinning. "That's adorable. They sound like good people." She smiled, glancing out the window and watching the scenery fly by. She didn't press him on his answer, she simply nodded. "Sounds complicated." actually it was only dos dos)) He smiled. "They were, my dad was one of the practical joke people, you don't wanna knoe how many times I've woken up to whipped cream on my face." He chuckled, glancing back over at her. "The whole job is, mostly travelling. I've seen so much of the US." He shrugged lightly.

Me brain no comprendo)) Tempe nodded lightly at his description of his father, staring firmly out the window and drawing her arms into her chest ever so slightly as the conversation turned to Fathers specifically. "He sounds wonderful." She said lightly, glancing at him as the subject changed. "Do you enjoy that part of it?"

HEHEHE i know)) He glanced at her, wondering if she picked up on the past tense verbage he was using. Neither of his parents were alive. She didn't appear to understand, only a little defensive looking. "I do, very much so. I love seeing sights. How about you? What do you do?"

Not Tempe being too preoccupied with her daddy issues that she didn't realize his parents are dead haaahaaae)) "It's good that you enjoy it. Not a lot of people like what they do." She shrugged, turning back to him now that the conversation had turned from family. She offered a teasing smile at his question. "I'm... a guardian angel. I get assigned random people who will do important things, protect them until they do that thing, and then I leave. I like it, most of the time. But usually I kind of just... hover, invisible, rather than conversing with my person like you and I do. The worst part is always leaving. Usually my assignments are rather long, and I have a problem about... getting too attached. But otherwise, y'know." She shrugged.

he smiled slightly, he was not a settler. He liked seeing places. He looked to her, his expression turning curious, slightly negative. She lied to him, joking or not she had not picked him. He was blocking that from his expression. "I have important things in my future? What a change." He hadn't meant that to come out so sharply. "Don't get too attached, I'd be sad if you got sad 'cause you had to leave." He hoped that might sound more like a tease than sarcasm.

Tempe watched him intently. Perks to being an Angel? She learned to read people. And she could tell something she said had left a slightly bitter taste in his mouth. She couldn't tell what, though. She tilted her head at his sharp statement. "I think you have important things in your future. And not just because the heavens told me." She said quietly, watching him and tilting her head as he continued to speak, frowning ever so slightly. She'd like to be able to joke about it, but the amount of tears she had shed because she had to leave people said otherwise. "Yeah. I'll do my best." She said quietly, looking back out the window momentarily.
