"Neither of us have it very well, id say" Ella smiled, settling herself down on the corner of the bed as she spoke. It was a lot warmer in there, and she was grateful for it. She shrugged at his second comment, wiping small flakes of snow off her arms. "Who does? Me?" She asked, shimmying out of her jacket and hanging it up on the nearest high surface possible.

Sage chuckled slightly, though grunted in agreement to her comment. "Maybe that's why I haven't driven you crazy yet," he half joked, though there was also sort of the question as to why she hadn't gotten mad at him for something and all the rest. But, he certainly wasn't complaining. He shrugged at her next comment, humming in thought. "I guess you could. They can't say no to you if you tell them to do something," he noted lightly.

"It'll take a lot to 'drive me crazy' i'll tell you that much" Ella smiled, looking Sage in the eye for a quick second. She wasn't really lying, it would take a considerable amount of teasing, insults or general irritation to make her actually mad at him. Most of the time if she was in a bad mood she just..didn't talk. She looked around the room for a little while, before settling her gaze on the clock. "I'll talk to someone. Or if you tell me what you need, get them whenever I get forced to go out" she smiled. "are you tired yet? it's late" she added quietly.

Sage chuckled slightly at her comment, a light blush coming to his face when she met his eyes. He definitely wasn't used to meeting people's gaze....it normally resulted in pain, so he just stayed meek as he could and kept his eyes down. But he'd gaze didn't seem cruel or cold...so it was certainly nice to know she really didn't hate him. "That's helpful," he mused. He nodded at her comments about getting something and then shrugged. "I don't need much...just, maybe something more modest? If we're not doing anything like...that...you know," he mused. Then he shrugged. "It's not any more comfortable for me to wear this than for you to look at it," he half chuckled. "And maybe something warmer," he admitted. He wasn't tired until she mentioned sleeping, but suddenly he was exhausted and just nodded with a sheepish grin. "That was the most I've done in a long time," he mused. "I could sleep."

"Ill keep that in mind then, when I get dragged out tomorrow maybe." She said quietly, giving a polite smile. It was the weekend tomorrow, which then meant according to her father she'd have to do some dumb 'meeting people' thing, and she was dreading it. If she could convince the people to let her have Sage come along though, she'd be..happier. She nodded in agreement at his second comment enthusiastically, standing herself back up. "Probably a good idea. I'm going to wash, then we can both sleep" she spoke, stopping before she dissapeared round the corner to go to the bathroom. "I like you. You're pleasant to be around" she said with a small smile and a slight shrug, giving him no time to reply as she slipped into the bathroom.

Sage chuckled lightly and nodded in response to her comment. "Noted," he mused lightly. He didn't need much...and in all truth he was terrified to ask for even what he had. Not afraid of her, necessarily, but of...everyone else. They were neaty and cruel...and he wouldn't put it past them for them to do something crazy. They did that already, without him getting a whole new wardrobe. There were plenty of maids who much preferred the very immodest outfits he wore now. But whatever...she wouldn't let anything happen to him if she could help it he thought. He was rather surprised at her comment, but a goofy grin plastered itself on his face as he crawled in to his side of the bed.

ill be very busy this weekend, im not sure if ill be able to log on AS much)) - Soon enough Ella had showered and changed, and, after long enough, scraped her hair back into a ponytail. She wandered back out into the bedroom, immediately slipping herself under the covers. For a place so big and rich, they sure didn't seem to care too much for heating, especially when it was snowing outside and borderline freezing at night. She gave Sage a small smile as she got herself comfy, racking her brain on what to actually say. In the end she couldn't actually find anything, and instead leant back against the headboard, tracing patterns on her arm.

(no worries, thanks for the heads up tho!) Sage sort of glanced over at her when she slid into the bed, reciprocating her smile and then slid under the covers with a sigh, closing his eyes and passing out almost immedietaly. She was still awake...but he trusted her enough that it didn't really matter he supposed. It wasn't likely she'd try anything while he was asleep, after all...She just wasn't like that. And if she was, she'd have dome it before.

all good :)) - After a while, Ella finally drifted off to sleep. Sage seemed to fall asleep rather quickly, leaving time for her to simply just lie there and think. Not about anything in particular, just how bad she felt her life would get being stuck as the queen. It seemed to boring and repetitive, plus she couldn't exactly get out of it. She woke up rather early the next morning, so early it was still dim outside. She twitched the curtain to look out at the courtyard, watching the shimmering snow settling on the ground, before sitting up, keeping her gaze away from Sage who was still asleep.

Sage woke up soon enough, and he sort of shifted in the bed with a yawn before propping his head up on his hand so he could see Ella. "Still snowing," he asked still sort of groggily, since he was admittedly still half asleep. it took him a while to wake up, when he wasn't scared of something he supposed.
