Kennedy nodded in agreeance "Yep, everyone is guilty until proven innocent" She said with a small chuckle just joking around then listened to what Caden said next. "It should be on your desk by the time we get back with that guy cause if not I'm marching right back into the court house" Kenendy said sternly with a small joking tone, yes she was joking but at the same time she was serious cause it was just going to be annoyign at that point if it wasn't. When the waiter walkeed up Kennedy smiled a 'thanks' to her before tilting her head slightly at what she said "You should probably go see who it is" Kennedy said firmly

Caden nods and got up before walking with the waiter to the phone before picking it up and said " this is caden " as a male voice came from the other side saying " you keep doing you mothers case I'll deal with you myself or more girls will end up like her " Caden said " who is this " before in when dead and Caden said " Fuck" before walking away and when back to the table and said " sorry about that but I need to go and check a number out " as he grabs his stuff and said " I have no idea who is was but he surely threatened me"

Kennedy watched as Caden got up and walked away, she waited patiently not really worried about who might have called him but it was a bit weird that they didn't call on his direct cellphone. After a few moments she glanced back over seeing Caden walk back, she was about to ask who it was but Caden spoke before her. Kennedy tilted her head at first hearing what he said and watch him grab his things. At his second comment she quickly stood up grabbing her things as well "Well that man as a whole thing coming for him if he thinks he's gonna get away with threatening you" She said a bit angerly.

Caden nods and said " he might have use a voice changer but if I continue on with the case more girls are going to die " as he sighed then said " I'll call Matt to get us in and out food since I don't want you to go without lunch " as he smiles before walking out and calls Matt told him to get them lunch while he was out before opening the door for her

Kennedy nodded "Yes he could've, he could have also been using a burner phone so you might not be able to trace the call..." She paused for a moment thinking about the next line he said. "Fuck that man... Your going to continue the case and I'll think of something to lure this guy out so we can get him" Kennedy said with confidence still with anger in her voice as she followed Caden out of the resturant "That's nice of you, thanks" She said to his last comment

Caden nods and then said " yeah but we can't have him hurt someone " as he looks at her and unlocks the car then he got in and started it up and said " but it could also be a bad cop or a mayor any one of those who knows " before he through back as he drives back to the station a bit fast but not over over the speed limit as he was more thinking about stuff

Kennedy nodded "Yes but what if we set it up so I'm the next victim but first we have to figure how he picked this woman to kill" She said firmly while still thinking as she hopped in the vehicle. "Bad cop, civilian, mayor, or whatever they are, they still threatened to kill more if you continued and that's what your going to do is continue your investigation with me as their next victim" Kennedy said while holding on a bit tightly onto the door with his fast driving

Caden said " you as the victim no I am not risking a cop to be a victim what happens if I don't get there in time I know you can hold your own but a guy like him" before he pulls into the station and said " I know I shouldn't be protecting you but it my duty as a cop to protect other cops " as he stops the car and turns in off knowing it would work but it would be dangerous

Kennedy kind of huffed at what Caden said, she knew she was fully capable to handle things on her own if they went south "Oh come on it'd be better a civilian actually getting hurt and what other female cop do you know that will use themselves as a target for a murderer" She basically hissed out at him trying to get her point across with another huff. "Yeah and it's also our duty to do whatever it takes to get the bad guy" Kennedy said firmly and as soon as Caden turned off the car she hopped out with a quick slam of the door

Caden got out and said " damn it Kennedy cops get in big trouble just a fast as a guy can get drunk and not a lot of cops can save themselves " before he sighed and said " the only way I would let you if he wasn't as dangerous then I might be okay with it but I am not with him " as he looks away and sighed then said " I just care about you for some reasons "
