Geek, it really sounds more like an emergency visit to me... If she's losing weight and is a puppy, that's serious. She could also end up severely dehydrated. Repetitive vomiting is not something to "wait and watch".

Online vet advice is unstable to begin with. It's all guesses and "try this" and in many cases, actual medications are needed. Which people at home can't provide. At this point I just direct people straight to the vet lol.

As for the woman we got her from, she gave me and my brother our dogs as soon as they could be weaned from their mom (8 weeks old/2 months old, I think.)
