Sage chuckled when Annie ran up to him and nodded, patting the girls shoulder lightly. "It a fine dress," he assured the girl. Then he looked over at Cassandra and stood up with a sigh. "I...I should probably leave and figure something out. Somewhere to stay and all that. I've already put you in enough danger," he sighed, running a hand through his hair, shoulders sagging a bit. He had no idea what he'd do....but he'd have to do something. "Thank you, for...for letting me stay."

Annie said " no you can't leVe mommy he just go here" Cassandra said " unfortunately I don't have a idea where you should go but you need food and medicine you don't want to get hurt or hungry" as she looks at him before saying " you are welcome stay anytime " before another bang and the leader yells " Cassandra come out here you are under arrest for holding the guy we were looking for " Cassandra sighed and looks at the door

Sage nodded slightly, chewing his lower lip as he tried to figure out what to do. He jumped when the door banged and he clenched his jaw. "they can't arrest you without proof," he hummed, heading for the back door. "I was never here," he instructed them before sliding out the back door and slipping away. He stayed close, in the woods, in case they tried something. But they couldn't see him.

Cassandra opens the door and said " as I said I don't have and you going to listen to that lier he lied before remember leader " leader looks at him and sighed before said " yes but how can I trust you " Cassandra said " you break my heart dearly " leader sighed and said " stay here we will be back hear me " Cassandra said " where would I go " as she shrugs and they left and Cassandra walks back in side and out the back door and sighed

Sage watched the exchange and smiled slightly, relaxing a bit when the men left. She was safe for now, though he had a sneaking suspicion they'd be back, so he slid a bit farther into the forest, but stayed within ear range and sight of the house. He'd feel bad if anything happened to the family because of him.

Cassandra smiles before walking back inside and sat down before Annie sat beside her and said " where did he have to go " Cassandra said " cause he is being hunted down to get back in to jail so he had to go " Cassandra sighed and Annie looked down and said " why couldn't we go with him " Cassandra said " cause it won't be fun to be out there " Annie said " he must be hungry and alone "

Sage was admittedly alright out in the woods. He found some berries, so he wasn't absolutely starving, and he could sit down and rest without feeling like something bad was going to happen. He did keep an ear out for anything coming towards him though, just in case.

Cassandra smiles and said " I am going to make a snack you stay here" Annie nods and Cassandra left to the kitchen Annie got off the couch and when out the back door running into the forest to look for sage Cassandra cuts up apples and carrots before walking back and said " Annie where are you " then looks around the house and said " oh you didn't go look for sage did you " as she walks out of the house and said " Annie "

Sage was sort of just laying around in a tree when he heard something crashing towards him. It was small though, so he frowned slightly and then sighed when he saw Annie running about. "you should stay with your mom, kiddo," he hummed. He held his hand out though. "Come on, let's get you back home."

Annie said " but I don't want to go back home you will leave again your my friend " Annie looks down and cries Cassandra looks around before looking at a guy and sighed then walks towards the forest and was about to go in before she got grab for behind by the leader and he said " you are under arrest king was wondering when you would do this " as he ties her hands together
