"No...." Louis' voice trailed off. "But I recognize the script. Do you have a library?" He said, his voice quavering off as he looked around as if expecting a library to materialize out of nowhere.

"Of course we have a library," Christopher said kind of sarcastically, "why wouldn't we have one?" He gestured for Louis to follow him and began to lead him out of the ball room and towards the library.

Louis followed Chris out of the ballroom and down to the library. The two were extra cautious, looking around every corner for signs of life. The two walked in silence, looking around and keeping alert. Soon they rounded the corner into a looby-like area, and then took a turn off towards the library, managing to avoid the guards.

After a while of sneaking around Chris opened the door to the library and let Louis enter first. He then closed it quietly behind them and looked around at the room. The walls were lined with bookshelves that were so high that a couple of ladders of tracks were seen around it. There were also large bookshelves on the ground that had labels on their ends and a few comfortable reading areas as well. "So what exactly are we looking for," he asked Louis.
"Dictionaries," Louis said. "More specifically, draconic dictionaries. Or possibly the old tongue. It's hard to tell." Louis said ponderingly. Pointing Chris in the direction of the draconic section and he went over to the old tongue dictionaries. "Look there. You are looking for a character that looks like this." Louis traced out what looked like a backwards k and a # combined. "I'll look in the old tongue section," Louis said with a grin.

Chris nodded and walked over to that section. Although he did find it strange that Louis was telling him what to do and the fact that Louis knew what the writing was. Why hadn't his parents taught him about the older languages? He pushed these thoughts away and began to search through the books. There was no character that looked like what Louis wanted that he was seeing yet. "You find anything yet," he calls to Louis.
"Nope..." Louis said in a shouty whisper. "But keep looking, I know it's here somewhere..." Louis had already gone through several books, but so far he couldn't find anything. Then, as he was combing the shelves for another book to search, he saw something tucked away in the back of the shelves. "Your gonna want to see this!" Louis called out to Chris.

He continued searching after Louis said that he hadn't found anything yet. -I wonder what they will mean- he thinks -I still wonder when that statue got there. It doesn't look like anything my parents would buy..- He looks up when he hears Louis call to him and kind of jogs over. "What is it," he asks as he walks up beside him.

Gesturing to Chris to look past the books on the front of the shelf, he stood there in anticipation. "It's a book! And it has the symbol on it!" Louis' eyes lit up in excitement. "But I can't reach it..." He laughed, gesturing to his shortish arms.
He looked where Louis was pointing and chuckled some, "Let me get it then." Chris rached behind the books and pulled the book out. He then blew on it, away from Louis, to get the dust off of it. "God it's really dusty," he says watching as a cloud of dust comes off of it, "must have been back there for years."
