Kurai's favourite time of night was midnight. The bright city lights at any time kept the stars from being seen properly even in one of the highest buildings around. It would have been a wonderful night to go for a walk, if only he had still been on vacation. Mob life hit him hard when he got back home to New York. He had been updated on the business he needed to know, but otherwise he tried to block everything out for the sake of peace and restoring his sanity as much as possible in his short week away. Kurai sat quietly at his desk, pen twirling through his fingers as he read through the gambling districts report. He had a glass of water next to the papers he had to read next. But it was all so boring, this side of it at least. He had his fair share of drama through other days in the past but tonight was not his best. What made it worse was that the paperwork needed to be signed, so by his own personal rules he had to stay in his office until it was done before he could go back home. Maybe sleep, if he could. Insomnia was relentless, and it was unlikely for him to relax but a man could hope. |

Katherine roams around the city in New York, wearing a soft red dress. Her father business was driving her insane, she didn't let anyone know even her family know but she was a dancer at a little pony club and she told her family she was taking a walk but actually was going to the club to get to work, Katherine walks as she fiddles with her light reddish brown hair it was past her shoulders halfway on her back. She looks around before going into a alleyway of course she was on someone else territory but she didn't care . Katherine was into the club in the back and was greeted by Abby who said " Katherine hey how's it going " Katherine said " pretty good addy " someplace just calls her Katie for short or kat as she walks towards the front and out into the club and smiles at the men who was watching the first lady dance in front of them before she goes up to the bar she was one of those someone buys for a hour type girl, as the bartender walks to her and said " be careful beautiful " Katherine smiles and said " thanks for you worry Billy " . Katherine leans against the bar table and watches the guys she was trying to see which one would be interesting to walk up to mostly it was drunk guys or husbands looking for a new fun then their own wife. Katherine shakes her head and orders herself a strong drink being 22 years old it kind a hard |
