Camery ValatieriPrimary InformationName: Camery ValatieriNickname: CamAge: 19 yearsGender/Pronouns: Female; She/HerSexual Orientation: HeterosexualOccupation/Role: Princess (Heir to the Day's Throne) Overall Appearance: (Link) Standing at 5’4” (162 cm), Camery is a slender, graceful woman with an elegance that betrays her sheltered upbringing. Her soft, sun-bleached bronde hair cascades in gentle waves, often styled half-up, half-down to keep it out of her face while still flowing freely. The natural gold highlights in her hair shine brilliantly in the sunlight, adding a subtle, ethereal glow to her appearance. Her light blue eyes are large and intense, reflecting both curiosity and the weight of her royal responsibilities. Her skin is fair and freckled across the bridge of her nose, with a few faint scars marking the left side of her neck—a reminder of her childhood. Though she maintains a refined image in public, Camery prefers the comfort of simple trousers and shirts when in private. However, when the occasion calls for it, she dons elaborate dresses, often in cool colors like blue or violet, with gold trim to highlight her royal lineage. There’s an undeniable grace to her presence, even when she doesn’t fully embrace the role she was born into. Voice/Intonation: Camery's voice carries the quiet authority of someone accustomed to being heard, even if she doesn’t always seek attention. It’s calm, yet firm, with a hint of vulnerability that betrays her internal conflicts. Her tone can be sharp when she feels misunderstood, though it’s never without reason. While she doesn’t raise her voice often, when she speaks, her words are deliberate, carrying the weight of both wisdom and youthful ambition. Her voice can shift from a quiet, reflective hum to a commanding, impassioned declaration when she’s pursuing something that matters to her. Her presence is one of measured confidence, tempered by her struggle to reconcile her royal destiny with her growing desire for independence. In moments of uncertainty, Camery remains composed, but beneath her calm exterior lies a fierce determination to find her true path. Personality Overview [Ambitious] [Curious] [Loyal] [Reserved] [Rebellious] [Honest] [Empathetic] Camery Valatieri is an introspective and determined young woman, shaped by both the privilege and isolation of her royal upbringing. She is driven by a deep desire to understand her kingdom and its people, often sneaking out in disguise to learn more about the world beyond the palace walls. Her ambition is as vast as her curiosity, but it is tempered by the weight of responsibility placed on her shoulders from an early age. Despite her royal status, Camery is not one to take her position for granted. She resents the restrictions that come with her title, and at times, she rebels against the constraints of royal life. She is fiercely independent, constantly questioning her place in a world that expects her to follow a predetermined path. However, her ambition is not without a deep sense of loyalty to those she cares about. She is unwavering in her commitment to her family and the few trusted allies she has, even if those bonds are few and far between. Though she can be aloof and distant at times, there is a warmth to her that emerges when she’s around those she trusts. Camery is painfully honest, often to a fault, as she believes that only through transparency can true connections be made. She is also fiercely empathetic, able to see through the facades others put up, though she keeps her own emotions well-guarded. At her core, Camery is someone who craves freedom and meaningful change but feels trapped by the expectations of those around her. Her journey is one of self-discovery, as she learns to navigate the complexities of her royal duty while seeking to carve out her own identity and future. Likes: Camery finds solace in the quiet moments when she can escape the scrutiny of royal life. She enjoys wandering through the nearby forests, finding peace in nature and solitude. She has a deep love for reading, particularly historical texts, and often immerses herself in stories of great leaders and revolutions. While she may not fully embrace her title, she has a quiet appreciation for the beauty and intricacy of court life. Camery also has a passion for learning about the common folk and often seeks to understand their lives through secretive visits to the villages. Dislikes: Camery has little patience for the superficiality of court politics, the constant scheming, and the pursuit of power for its own sake. She despises dishonesty, especially when it comes from those she trusts most, and has little tolerance for betrayal. Loud, chaotic environments make her uncomfortable, as she prefers moments of stillness where she can think clearly. Above all, she dislikes being treated as a mere figurehead, trapped in a life she did not choose for herself. Backstory: Born into the royal Valatieri family, Camery’s life has always been one of expectation. Her every move has been scrutinized, her future carefully mapped out by her parents and advisors. Yet, despite the wealth and privileges she enjoys, Camery has always felt something missing. Her family, though well-meaning, has always treated her more as a pawn than a person. Her father is distant, consumed with the weight of the kingdom, while her mother, ever the political strategist, has pushed her to embrace her role as future queen without question. As she grew older, Camery began to question the world around her. She longed for independence, for the chance to explore life beyond the palace walls. This curiosity led her to sneak out in disguise, wandering the streets and villages to see firsthand how the people of her kingdom lived. What she saw there shocked her, and it ignited a fire within her to change the way the kingdom was run. However, her growing desire for change has put her in direct conflict with her family’s wishes, creating a growing rift between her personal aspirations and her royal duty. Camery is caught between two worlds: the one she was born into and the one she wishes to create for herself. Though she dreams of revolutionizing the kingdom, she knows that to do so would require sacrifice—sacrifice that she is not yet sure she’s ready to make. Edited at December 26, 2024 09:33 PM by Belle

Camery Valatieri - Camery made her way back to the castle as she had on countless nights before—quiet, unnoticed, and alone. The streets of the village she wandered through were familiar now, almost comforting, even though she knew as a princess she was never supposed to be out this late by herself. But that didn’t seem to matter much in these moments. She didn’t go out on grand adventures; she ate, she wandered, she spoke to a few of the villagers. But even so, they would be her future subjects one day, and she was determined to understand them, to know them, to be the best ruler she could be. At least, that’s what she told herself. The sun was beginning to rise, casting its early light over the sleepy kingdom, and with it came the changes Camery had long become accustomed to. Her blue eyes would begin to gleam, almost glowing in the soft morning light, and her sun-kissed blonde hair would catch the light in ways she could never quite explain. The golden, tattoo-like markings of the sun’s rays would creep up her left shoulder, snaking down her back, a reminder of her lineage and the power that ran through her veins. She’d be easily recognizable soon enough, but for now, the streets were still quiet, and she moved through the centuries-old tunnel beneath the castle unnoticed. Emerging at the base of the grand structure, Camery looked up at the towering walls of the castle, her eyes tracing the golden-painted balcony that was her kingdom’s pride. It was where she, the future queen, would rest—if anyone knew where she had been, it would hardly be fitting. A quiet breath escaped her lips as she took in the surroundings, her mind already calculating how she would move through the halls without attracting attention. The day guard would be awake soon, much more alert than the night guard. The night guard—Malakai—was something of a mystery to her, but she’d grown used to him. Though quiet and reserved, he made her feel safe. He often stood in corners, out of sight, and though he was never invasive, she couldn’t help but notice that he wasn’t exactly difficult to look at either. The thought amused her as she made her way up, slipping through the corridors as quietly as possible. To her surprise, however, as she turned a corner to her room, there stood Malikai. She hadn’t expected the guards to have changed yet, let alone the guard that was actually alright at his job. A small grin tugged at her lips. "Good morning, Malakai," she greeted him with a cheerful tone. "I wasn’t expecting you yet," she added, amusement dancing in her voice. She paused by the door next to him, her eyes flickering to the ground for a moment as she gathered her thoughts. "Just let me get changed and then..." Her sentence trailed off as she lost her train of thought, her mind wandering for a second. Then, with a tilt of her head, she turned back to him. "Are you hungry?" she asked, a playful note in her voice. "We should get breakfast soon." Her bodyguards were just that—bodyguards. They were there to protect her, to follow orders, to remain in the background. But every so often, she found herself wishing for something more. Something other than the cold professionalism of their role. Malakai, though, was new. He had only been here for a couple of months, and while she couldn’t fully trust him, she’d grown comfortable enough to share small moments of conversation with him. Perhaps she could convince him to sit down for breakfast and talk. About anything. Something other than the duties and expectations that weighed on her every step. Camery Valatieri - Camery glanced over at Malakai, feeling a brief flicker of disappointment at his refusal, but she quickly brushed it off. She wasn’t about to dwell on it. After all, she would have to eat at some point, anyway. With a small smile, she stood up as he opened the door for her, her movements fluid as she walked toward the cupboard to select something clean to wear. She could feel his eyes on her as she moved, and her curiosity piqued once again as he began to speak. A small smirk played on her lips, her amusement almost palpable. "Just for a stroll around the castle," she responded, her voice soft yet laced with a hint of mischief. She casually raised a brow at him, a playful challenge in her gaze. "It gets quite stuffy in here, you know," she added, her tone light but still carrying a subtle weight of truth. "Being watched all the time becomes tiresome... and my night guard is near useless," she continued with a soft laugh. "I can get out without him noticing." Her words were casual, though there was an undeniable edge of defiance hidden in them. She didn’t expect him to think much of it, but her mind wandered to the villages she sometimes visited. She hadn’t exactly confessed to that, though. With a flick of her wrist, she finally grabbed a dress she liked—a soft, flowing fabric that she knew would be comfortable. Camery moved behind a screen in the corner of the room, quickly shedding the layers of her previous attire. As she changed, she poked her head out from behind the screen for a brief moment, letting her hair cascade over her shoulder. The golden markings on her neck and shoulder glowed faintly in the soft light, a quiet reminder of the power she carried. "You're very quiet, Malakai," she remarked, her voice teasing as she glanced over at him, her expression unreadable but laced with a playful note. She could sense his restraint—something about his stoic nature always intrigued her. With a soft chuckle, she disappeared behind the screen again, pulling on the dress and smoothing it into place. "You can speak, you know," she muttered, her voice more contemplative as she wandered out from behind the screen, her steps light as she approached him. "And you will be joining me for breakfast," she added with a smile, her eyes glinting mischievously. "After all, you need to watch me anyway, do you not?" Her laughter danced in the air, warm and easy, as she looked at him with a glimmer of expectation. There was something both comforting and unnerving about having him around, and while she had no intention of forcing his company, it felt almost natural to have him at her side. Camery Valatieri - Camery walked out the door with a fluid grace, though she was acutely aware of Malakai trailing a step behind her. As her bodyguard, that was his role, after all. The atmosphere around them felt heavy, especially with the worsening situation between their kingdom and the Night Kingdom. Rumors had started circulating that they were being spied on, and her father, ever the protector of his lineage, had grown increasingly worried. Camery was the future of the kingdom, and with that came a certain target painted squarely on her back. The notion unsettled her more than she let on. For years, she’d gone without a bodyguard, free to roam as she pleased. But lately, Malakai had become a fixture in the daytime, always there, always vigilant. As much as she hated to admit it, she had grown accustomed to the presence of her guards, and Malakai was... well, he was certainly a striking addition to the role. Tall, muscular, with blue eyes so dark they could have been the night sky itself. Camery couldn’t help but think of him as more of an accessory than anything—albeit, a very handsome one. The thought made her smile more than she cared to admit. She glanced over her shoulder at him, her expression shifting into something playful, though with an underlying bitterness. "I should be able to walk around my own castle without the likes of you looking over my shoulder," she remarked, a slight pout touching her lips. She did miss the days when she could simply roam the halls without the ever-present weight of another person shadowing her every step. It felt like a luxury she no longer had, and that, more than anything, made her feel like she was losing herself. Her footsteps carried her into a much more homely dining room, the atmosphere a stark contrast to the cold, impersonal elegance of the rest of the castle. She stopped and hummed thoughtfully at his next comment, her mind briefly wandering. "Nothing to say?" she asked lightly, her voice teasing as she glanced back at him. It was rare to hear Malakai speak, and she couldn’t help but wonder if it was intentional or simply his nature. Sitting down at the table, she extended a hand towards the seat across from her, offering him a place at the table. Her tone softened as she tried to engage him in something, anything that would break the silence between them. "Well, what are your plans for the evening?" she asked, her voice light and casual, an attempt at creating conversation. She had never been good at making small talk, but she was genuinely curious. She wanted to know what made him tick, even if it was just a fleeting conversation. And so, she sat back, watching him with an easy smile, waiting for him to respond.
