(Let's just say that these vampires in go in daylight, but it makes them weaker)
Cassius Abel
-
Sweat dripped from Cassius's wavy golden hair, he gave a small growl of irritation before swinging the axe again. He couldn't believe Victor wanted this much iron, good thing he didn't tire easily.
Cassius had mined at least 250 pieces of iron, he sighed and grabbed his shirt from a nearby tree. No matter how much sun Cassius got, his skin will never tan. He was a vampire. Cassius quickly put his shirt on and gathered the iron pieces into bags, 50 iron pieces in each, Cassius could carry them all at once with his unnatural strength, but he wasn't in the mood to make people suspicious of him.
Cassius grabbed the bags and hefted them over her shoulder and walked towards the shire horse he had brought along. "Come here" he said to the horse as he got closer, the horse screamed and tried to get away from him, tugging on the lead rope. Cassius sighed, this was the usual reaction he had around animals, and recently, humans too. Cassius leaned forward and snatched at the horses bridle, "Stay still" he growled. The horse trembled with fear as Cassius packed the 5 bags of iron pieces on the creature, the horse looked at Cassius, his ears pinned and his eyes rolling with fear. "Calm down, I am not hungry right now" he said, but no matter his words, he knew this animal would not calm down, he was a creature of death after all.
The sounds of the village surrounded Cassius as he walked into the village leading a flighty shire gelding, "Stop" he growl-whispered to the horse again, but the horse just skittered away, almost knocking into a cart of fresh produce. Cassius sighed, why must animals hate him? Cassius rubbed his shoulder, making sure the villagers were watching. He couldn't let them suspect that after mining 250 pieces of iron he was still nice and fresh, ready for more work. Cassius stopped at the forge, the skittish shire in tow. "Victor! I brought the Iron pieces! 250!" He said, a sharp angled face appeared out of the forges thick grey smoke, "250? Hmm. That will do" he said, it seemed that Victors very goal was to put Cassius down, but Cassius was unfazed. Victor tossed Cassius a bag of coins. "Yes, 250, I will leave the horse here for you to unpack" he said, turning to leave. His eyes caught on the familiar 'Rules' sign inside the forge, Cassius chuckled to himself, walking away. Victor had put that sign up soon after hiring Cassius, mainly because of the amount of talk there is around Cassius and how strange he was. The sign mainly said;
Rules
~~~~
No Refunds
Pay before commission is complete
pay in full sum
And in smaller writing...
No people called Cassius allowed in
Cassius knew that the last rule wasn't for other Cassius's, just himself. It's not like he wanted to go into the forge anyway.
Cassius turned away from the forge and walked towards the villages centre, where business was stronger and the crowds were thicker. Cassius weighed his bag of coins in his hand, it was enough to buy some groceries to convince the villagers. But, after buying some groceries, Cassius hoped to bring his worn out shirt to the menders, he didn't need people looking through the holes in his shirt.
Prince Vincent Omveran
~~~

Vincent sighed in annoyance, his eyes gazing over the village below. He was seated in his room, on his window seat. Though, he suspected he wouldn't be here for much longer. As if on cue, he heard a knock at the door. Vincent tilted his head to glance at the door.
“Come in.”
He said, his voice sharp and carrying a fancy accent. As he had realized most of his family/royals posses. The door opened, revealing Jackson, his butler. Jackson smiled at him and hummed, stepping into the lavish room and bowing.
“The queen has requested you, sir.”
He said and Vincent sighed, planting his feet on the ground and standing.
“Jackson, how many times have I told you not to bow when in private?”
He asked, walking over to his butler. Jackson laughed quietly.
“Too many sir, it's just natural.”
He responded and Vincent nodded.
“My mother, you said?”
Vincent asked, brushing past Jackson, stopping in front of the door and placing a hand on the intricately designed door handle. He had learned it was gold. Which was frankly irritating. Why have gold handles? Like he said, irritating. Jackson nodded behind him and walked up behind him.
“Yes sir.”
He confirmed and Vincent had To restrain another sigh. Vincent nodded and twisted the door handle, pushing the large door open and stepping out into the hall. Jackson followed, stepping in front of him and beginning to lead the way. Vincent closed his bedroom door and began following Jackson. He vaguely wondered why his mother needed him. But it could be for any number of reasons. When Jackson reached the entrance to the dining room, he gestured inside and Vincent nodded at him in silence thanks. Vincent walked through the entrance, stepping into the large dining room. It had a long table in the center, large enough for all of them and an extended amount of guests. A large, crystal chandelier hung from the ceiling, light glittering around the room from the morning sun. Large windows coated the side of the room that faced out toward the village. Vincent found that mocking, which annoyed him. His eyes landed on his mother, who was sitting at the very end of the room, in one of the poof chairs by the fire. She seemed to be reading. Vincent set his face letting his surprise drop off his features as he walked to her. His footsteps echoed through the room as he walked the length of the table. When he got to the end he looked down at his mother, who, per usual, didn't spare him a glance.
“Sit.”
She said, her words sharp and crisp. A clear contrast to the warmth of the fire. Vincent reluctantly sat on the poof chair across from her, his eyes roaming her figure. Ah. She was reading history books. That made sense. His mother finally looked up at him, her hazel eyes piercing him. Vincent resisted the urge to look away or shudder. This was the reason he hated his own eyes. But he wasn't about to say anything.
“You requested me, mother?”
He asked, keeping his gaze unwavering and his posture poised. She hummed and closed the book she was reading, setting it aside.
“Yes. I did. I would like to inquire about something.”
She said, tapping her finger against the book she had been reading previously. Vincent nodded.
“Which is, mother?”
He pushed, praying she'd just say it.
“Have you felt any different recently? An urge? Your birthday is soon.”
She asked him, and Vincent couldn't stop a frown from making its way onto his lips.
“This is about marrying me off, isn't it?”
He asked bitterly, eyes going to the book she had been reading.
‘Royal Weddings and Ceremonies’
He should have guessed. His gaze went back to his mother, whose lips were pressed together in a tight line.
“Vincent, you are getting to the age.”
She said sharply, staring him down. Vincent felt four again, shrinking back at the harsh gaze of his mother.
“But I—”
He tried. He desperately needed her to forget about this for now. He didn't want to marry. A girl at least. But liking men was punishable by death as a royal. He seriously wished he wasn't a prince at the moment.
“Not. Another word, out of you. I will be setting something up with your father. The date will be sent when it has been decided. You are dismissed.”
She said briskly, picking another book up once more. Vincent felt his heart fall and he stared at her for another moment before standing quickly and walking out quickly. He didn't want to get married. It would simply be to take the place as king. Which he wasn't looking forward to either. He stepped out of the dining room and spotted Jackson talking to a maid, Hillary. Vincent approached, hoping he looked as Miserable as he felt. Which, success he supposed, considering Jackson did a double take of his face.
“I'm going to say that didn't go well…”
He muttered and Vincent shot Him a glare. Jackson rolled his eyes as Hilarry hummed.
“Why don't you go down to the village to cool Off?”
She said sweetly and Vincent sighed.
“Fine.”
He muttered, turning and walking toward The palace Doors. He grabbed a cloak nearby and put it on. Then he snuck outside and around the guards. When he finally got to The outskirts of the village, he took his hair down and ran his fingers through it. Making it a bit messier than normal. He then put the hood up and smiled slightly. He was thankful he wasn't wearing too fancy of clothing at the moment. He'd blend in fine. He had before. He stepped into the town square, blending in quickly as he pulled some coins from his bag and made his way over to his favorite stand. They sold baked sweets and he was a sucker for them. When he got there, he stopped in front of it, waiting for someone else to order before stepping up and ordering his usual. The lady smiled warmly and held out her hand. He slipped her the money and walked off. That's how it always was. You trade money for the stuff. It wasn't that complicated. He slipped back into the crowds, exploring the town square. He hadn't been here in a while…
(I will probably come back to add more detail later or when I have time)

Cassius Abel
-
Cassius opened the soft leather bag that carried his coins, he now stood in front of a stand selling carrots in the village central. "Just one" he said to the hardly washed man being the stand. He stared at Cassius as if he was something other, which, in all fairness, he was. The man passes him a single carrot, which Cassius held awkwardly in his hand. He remembered loving these weird orange sticks, but his love for human food soon disappeared once he got into the habit of being a vampire. The scruffy man behind the stand coughed expectantly. Cassius took a step back, "got a cold there?" He said, passing over two gold coins. The vampire turned, the corner of his lip upturned in self amusement.
Cassius had spent at least 7 gold coins on groceries he was sure to give to the wildlife, he now walked towards the menders. This shirt was showing far to much of his paper-white skin already. He had a scrappy cloth bag that carried his fake food.
Cassius lifted his head slightly, the smell of bitter-sweet pumping blood filled his nostrils. He looked around, his pupils dilated. Cassius shook his head, gaining control again. Cassius sighed, the time to feed was getting closer, he could hold it until tonight. Cassius turned and hurried through the crowds, it was easy, mostly. People kept a 2 metre distance from, as if sensing something wrong. Though some people, who were obviously new to the village and stepped in front of him, causing them to be harshly shouldered out of the way by Cassius.
Soon enough, Cassius's haste had proved to be effective and the now stood in front of the village menders, the menders were some of the only people Cassius got along with. However he didn't tell them that they were mostly all wives to men he had fucked. Cassius shrugged in amusement and stepped through the threshold, cold air greeting him.
"Ladies! I need a certain shirt fixed!" He said, cupping his hands in front of his mouth to help make his voice louder.
A middle aged woman in a lovely pastel purple dress stalked out of the back room, where they all worked. "Cassius.. it's good to see you" she said, bating her eyelashes flirtingly. "Good to see you Myra, I need my shirt fixed, can you do it?" He said, Myra leaned forward on the counter, making the dress tighten around her chest "I can always do it" she said, her voice deeply toned with lust. Cassius nodded, "true" Myra swung around and gestured to him, luring him into the back room.
Cassius sat down on a lounging chair, topless. He turned in his seat to watch 3 woman, including Myra, work passionately on his worn shirt. "How long do you think it will take?" Cassius asked, tearing a hand through his wavy golden locks. Myra turned and smiled at him, "10 moments should do" she said, Cassius got up, smiling and saying his thanks before moving to sit on the floor in the Menders foyer. He didn't think he could stay in that room any longer, not when he needed a fed so much.

(Just want to say, Vincent's blood smells metallic, which is odd cause royals do not have metallic smelling blood ;))

Prince Vincent Omveran

~~~
Vincent glared at the man running his booth. He was being very rude. Vincent was tempted to tell him he'd have him executed, before taking a breath and shoving his anger down.
“Pay me 8 coins for it.”
He rolled his eyes at the vendor. He was being so stingy. It was TWO apples. Vincent sighed.
“Then I don't want them.”
He said, bitterly as he walked off toward another vendor to see what they had. He walked around for a bit, somehow keeping himself on the down low. Thank Merlin too, he did not want to be swarmed for being tHe PrInCe.
Vincent sat down on the edge of a fountain, which was placed in the middle of the town. He sat for a bit, eating a scone that was made by the first vendor he visited. When he was partway finished, he glanced over and his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. People moving out of the way over there…? His first thought was Stephanie or royal guards coming to look for him. But that thought was quickly dismissed by the lack of oohing and awing. Actually, it was dismissed by the lack of everything. He stood up and promptly almost fell over. He grumbled as he felt a bit dizzy and focused his eyes ahead of him. When the dizziness receded, he moved through the crowd, looking over everyone's heads. He watched, in slight shock as people moved out of the way of a rather handsome, and very pale man. Vincent raised an eyebrow and watched him walk by and disappear into a shop. Vincent smiled lightly. Damn did he look good. Vincent tolledhi eyes once again as everyone around him continued Their loud chatter and quickly filled the gap, rushing to vendors. But the mysterious man had caught Vincent's attention. Which Vincent couldn't decide was good or bad for the man. Vincent pulled his hood further over his head, making sure his hair was covered fully and swiftly made his way through the crowd, his steps silent. Vincent didn't enter the shop, he wasn't that stupid. Instead standing outside the— helookd at the signs.
‘Women Tailors”
… Okay. Vincent leaned against a small outset on the building and waited for a bit, listening to the conversation inside. The man sounded familiar. Like an old ass uncle you didn't know existed but they held you at birth, so you have to say you remember them. That type of familiar. So Vincent supposed it could be anyone really. Vincent stepped back slightly when the very attractive and still pale man came out of the store, walking… somewhere, very quickly. Vimcent smirked slightly, forcing his eyes to stay on the back of the man's head. Vincent watched him for a moment longer before moving forward. He caught up to the man, grabbing his arm gently.
“Wait. What's your name?”
He asked, forcing the posh accent out of his voice. Vincent would have to go back to that,
‘Women Tailors,’
place later. He's fairly certain he recognized some voices that did not belong to the man in front of him. He was more likely to remember none of them. But he didn't really care. He stared at the man, waiting for an answer. But he took the time to study the man's golden blonde hair, his tall form, and his very very attractive physique. Oh, his mother would kill him if she knew the thoughts spinning through his mind at the moment.
Cassius Abel
-
Cassius felt a warm hand grip his bicep, Cassius whirled around. A young man held him tight, Cassius lifted his head away from the man. He could smell his blood, a sweet metallic substance that radiated beneath his skin. Cassius snarled and pulled hisself away from the man with unnatural strength, "Sam, now, I have somewhere to be, and that isn't around you" Cassius growled, something about this young man was familiar but he didn't feel like pushing it. Cassius brushed his hands down the front of his newly mended shirt and turned his back to the man. "Leave me alone" he said, the last thing he needed was a man trailing him like a lost puppy. But... then again, this young man was quite a picture of beauty with black and red hair, white skin and hazel eyes. Cassius realised he was staring at the man, he growled at himself for being so weak and turned away, once more.
Cassius fled the village central, mud clinging to his thin boots as he took up a unnatural speed. Hopefully that young man had started to use his brain and fear him, it's not every day that a pretty human makes contact with a bloodsucker.
The lights of the village grew further and further away as Cassius continued running uphill to his small but cozy cabin. Cassius slowed to a trot and sucked in a deep breath, it now felt as if he had put enough room between him and the strange man. Cassius turned and walked into the warmth of his small two-room cabin. In one room, the main one, Cassius managed to fit a tiny, but efficient kitchen, and small circle table with two chairs. In the Room connected to the kitchen/dining, was his bedroom, not like he slept much, but sometimes he just liked to rest. In his bedroom, a single bed was pushed into the furthest right corner, and a bathtub on the left side.
Sometimes if Cassius was feeling bold enough, he would heat a fire and warm up some water and have a long soak.
Prince Vincent Omveran
~~~

Vincent stumbled back slightly as he was pushed off with definitely unnatural strength. Hearing the man's alleged name, a smirk spread across Vincent's lips. This man was too handsome to be named Sam. He didn't believe it one bit. Although, if his name was actually Sam, Vincent would tell him to change his name. When the man turned back to him, they locked eyes and Vincent stared at him for what felt like a long time. There was definitely something familiar about him. Something he knew but couldn't place in that gaze. The man's eyes were amber colored with flecks of gold throughout them. They were very… pretty. When the man seemed to jolt from the gaze, Vincent snapped out of it as well. He was a bit dazed at how tense the eye contact was. He winked at the man to cover his surprise, putting his hands up in an ‘I surrender’ sort of way. Vincent watched as the mysterious man quickened his pace, walking quickly toward the outskirts of town. Vincent laughed quietly. A very interesting person indeed. Vincent turned on his heel, deciding not to bother the man for any longer. For now. Vincent began making his way back toward the palace, walking up to the gates. When two swords blocked his path he glanced up.
“No entry.”
The two guards said in unison. Vincent sighed in annoyance as he flipped his hood back, running a hand through his black and red colored hair. He could practically hear the shock in the guards voices’ as they hastily moved their swords and bowed.
“So sorry, sir! Please continue.”
Vincent glanced between them both before walking through the gates. He made his way up to the palace, slipping inside the large foyer and throwing his cloak onto a coat hanger. He put a hand on his hip, looking around.
Now what? He could bother Stephanie, or go ride Majestic(HIS HORSE MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER PEOPLE), or… draw.
Vincent hadn't drawn In a while. Probably because he had no inspiration for it. But now, he had a very handsome inspiration. Vincent shivered slightly as he remembered the man's hypnotic gaze. Oh he would pay to stare into those eyes again. Vincent began making his way to the grand stairs, his footsteps echoing the quiet halls. When he reached his bedroom, he placed a hand on the handle and pulled the door open. He hurried inside, hoping to not be seen by anyone as he closed the door behind him. Vincent let out a relieved breath after a moment and stretched. His room was large, a king sized bed fitted in the middle of he room, with gold accents and red silk sheets. It was a canopy bed, because no one could have normal beds in his family. There was a large walk-in closet through an arched frame and the bathroom through a closed Door on the opposite side of the room. The bathroom had a large tub and shower in it, also accented with gold. What was his family's deal with gold?
