Oliver sighed as his mother cupped her hands on his cheeks "I am so proud of you..." she said gently. He was celebrating his graduation and his acceptance into the university of his dreams Granite school of the artz and Culinary excellence, he'd had an early acceptance and his parents couldn't have been more proud... he was happy too but there was something he hated to leave behind... he looked at his best friend after his mother left him alone and headed over to her "Hey..." he said gently looking at her. The two of them knew they were a little more then friends but they didn't want anyone else to know... he was 18 and she was 16... technichally they weren't exactly suppose to be together... not yet anyways "Come on lets go to the roof." he smiled. It was one of their favorite spots in the apartment building... they had some of their greatest adventures on that roof since before they were in double digets.

Quinn smiles and looked at Oliver as he walked over. "Hi" she answered. She nodded at his suggestion, walking up to the attic and up the ladder. She was very glad his mom lived in the top apartment, so they didn't have to go outside to get to the roof. She climbed up on the concrete, sitting down with her knees tucked up to her chest as she gazed out over the city. Quinn wished she lived in the country... and that wish was going to come true, but she had to leave Oliver... and Oliver had to leave her. She glanced over at him.

Oliver smiled and sat with her "Everything's changing..." he said softly "I hope you're not as overwhelmed as I am..." he admitted "The hardest part is I have to leave you behind..." he admitted gently "We've been friends practically since we were in diapers..." he snickered "Playing imaginary games... and a really shitty version of hide and seek..." he teased bumping her arm playfully "Now all the sudden holy shit were in high-school and I graduated..." he chuckled softly. Quinn sighed. "I just wish you weren't leaving..." she murmured. "The only good thing about it is I get to live in the country now." She joked, putting her chin on her tucked up knees. She chuckled with him, remembering the good times way back when... (lol)

"I know..." he said gently before giving a chuckle "Let's make a deal then..." he said thinking for a moment "We'll write to eachother as often as we can... and on your 18th birthday I'll come by and we'll celebrate... Together." He smiled looking at her giving a smile.

Quinn looked at him, tucking her black hair back into the ponytail it was falling out of. She listened to his suggestion, smiling. "Sounds perfect. I can't wait to see you again." Quinn sighed, feeling as if he was already gone. She heard his mother calling. Quinn walked back down, looking at his mother who said to Oliver 'it was time to go'. Quinn looked at him one more time, giving him a hug. "I'll see you... someday..." she whispered before walking out the door and back to her house. Her mother was there. - "Quinn! Come help me pack up these things!" Andrea Carter glanced at her daughter, Quinn. Quinn murmured something, picking up a heavy box. - A day later, they were in their new home. It was very spacious, with almost 40 acres of all their own property. After Quinn unpacked she ran through the fields, finding a spot in the shade of the trees where a river ran through. It was magical... the tinkling of the river, the sparkling of the sunlight, and the flowing green grass. A small tear formed in Quinn's eye when she knew Oliver wouldn't Be able to share it with her.

So sorry got caught up in other stuff today!) Oliver smiled "It'll go by quickly" he assured her "Just keep busy." He told her before the two of them headed downstairs after sharing a hug. When he arrived downstairs to find his suitcase packed up beside his mother who was teary eyed he smiled "I'll see you soon mom." He assured her hugging her then his dad before he looked over at Quinn and waved before he headed out to his jeep and started his drive. Within a day he was in his new dorm unpacking he let both his mom and Quinn know that he was safely on campus in his dorm before he started unpacking. Over the summer he worked a job waiting tables to earn some extra cash. Doing his best to work in either a letter or Skype calls or whatever with Quinn or his family. When he started school however the calls and letters became understandably sparse with all the work he was doing in school. The next two years went by agonizingly slow the last week or so before Quinns birthday he'd gone radio silent from being busy... he was pressed for time working on his final exams... But on the night of Quinns birthday he parked his jeep in front of her house and texted her telling her to look outside, he was leaned casually against his jeep with a small bundle of flowers, a couple balloons and of course a present for her.
