settled in the heathland onto the molten cobblestone, solikha with a faltering, spiritless gaze, adjusted her established position. it exhausted her to bode in this, overt, forsaken motherland. meandering back and forth with no destination. hunting and weathering by pattern brought her no excitement or amusement anymore. it was all so arid and tiring.
''hmm,'' she'd chant, in a humble, enchanting tone, rubicund irises like the one of a falcon, tailed the circling pair of ravens soar so gracefully above her.
they mesmerized her and they felt mesmerized by her. pursuing and chaperoning her in her hunts, sometimes even feasting with the damsel. like companions, solikha never had. even if they seemed bewildered by her chants and utters, they perched nearby for the least bit of reassurance and solace.
but solikha didn't get effusive over it, thrashing her tassel, her gaze ebbed away from the ravens, regardless.
although settled on the cobblestone rock, the damsel with a brisk inhale nibbled an unfamiliar odor hovering from the south of the heathland, where the forestry had begun to blossom.
and what piqued her to ascend on her mitts, was the cluelessness of the odor.
it wasn't of a mammal, or particularly, a mammal that solikha would hunt. it was somewhat alike hers. pungent and just stirring. solikha could assume it was a canine, her class. meandering far from her. in the chasms of the biome.
and despite it prompting her. solikha hadn't encountered a canine, in centuries for that matter. not because of her loathing for them, but no canine seemed inquisitive to traverse around these motherlands, in search of what? famine? demise?
this motherland fitted her because of that. not to harm the innocent. and who came to the grounds of perish, hunted for death itself.
''hmph,'' the drawl of her voice crooned in the lethal stillness before her leap was noticed by the soaring ravens. and whilst, they did not trail after the mistress, her nimble and blistering physique was like a lightning bashing through the bleary welkin, ascertaining how powerful and spry solikha really was.
but regardless of the guise of her resilience, they were flummoxed as to why the mistress fled so quickly. vanishing into the forestry overdrawn by the gloaming of the looming groves.
(sorry for the hella late response haha)
