The sound and buzzing of the alarm sitting on the bedside table woke Ian with an aggravated moan. Rolling over, he smacked the snooze button until it shut up. 6:00 AM is what the red lights reflected to him as his eyes squinted. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes with more groaning as he stretched in bed, not wanting to leave the comforting warmth. Eventually, he pushed himself to sit up on the edge of the mattress and reach for the clothes he left folded on the nearby dresser. Socks on first before his jeans, then standing up to button his black long sleeve pearl snap. Ian grabbed his phone and wallet off his bedside table before shuffling out of his room, venturing into the kitchen to watch the last dribbles of coffee drip into his mug. Rubbing the last of the remaining sleep from his eyes, he made up his coffee and sipped on it slowly, cursing as he burnt his tongue from his impatience. He knew Ivy would be waiting for him patiently in her paddock until he got to the barn. True to his thoughts, Ivy ambled around her paddock in the early morning light. She stopped to nibble at tendrils of grass, swishing her tail as she raised her head to look around the property.

Anna drove the truck into the driveway. The truck had a long, shiny trailer hooked to it. Inside the trailer, Galaxy nieghed excitedly. The big stallion paced back and forth as the trailer stopped. Anna, a tall, stocky girl, hopped out , her blue eyes flashing and her dark red hair falling into place as she walked to the back of the trailer. She threw open the door on the trailer and led Galaxy out. She stepped into the barn and placed him in his stall. She began to sing, her clear voice ringing.

Ian finished the rest of his coffee then rinsed the mug out, placing it lightly in the sink to wash later. He ambled over to the front door, his tall, lean frame bending down to pull his boots on. He reached up, grabbed his truck keys and was out the door. His eyes searched the sky of the early morning light, watching the wispy clouds slowly creep by in the ombre of colors. With a little sigh Ian walked over to his truck and hopped in, beginning his short journey to the barn. Ivy nickered excitedly as she heard another horse neighing. She sidled up against the fence row to get a good look at the truck and trailer, waiting to see it's contents. She watched as a girl lead out a flashy chestnut stallion and enter the barn. Her petite ears flicked back and forth as she nickered again, listening to a sing song voice carrying from the barn.

Emily sang a bit longer and carefully placed Galaxy's tack in the tackroom. She fed and watered him, before letting him out to pasture. Galaxy trotted out, letting the breeze go through his mane and then he dropped his head to graze. He found some tasty blades of grass hiding in the wildflowers. He looked up and saw a pretty grullo mare in the next pasture over. Galaxy nieghed and trotted over.

Ivy whinnied excitedly as the stud came over her way. Her tail flagged excitedly as her nostrils flared, smelling the air for his scent. The little mare stretched her neck over the top fence row to get a good look at him, dark mane falling over to one side of her face. Ian pulled up to the barn and put his old truck into park. He sat there for a minute to pat his pockets, making sure he had everything before pulling his black felt cowboy hat over his mess of wavy brunette hair. Opening the door, he slid out of the truck, boots crunching on the gravel as he shut the door and walked into the barn. As he walked he noticed a new truck and trailer parked there, pondering who it was as he stepped inside and walked over to the feed room for Ivy's breakfast. "The poor Princess was probably starving," he thought to himself with a light chuckle as he mixed a light ration of grain in her blue bucket.

Galaxy snorted as he caught scent of the little mare standing by the fence, excited, he whinnied and greeted her, being as mannerly as he could. Anna smiled at Galaxy's very boyish manner of greeting the mare. She turned at the sound of grain rattiling into a food bin behind her. She immediatly blushed at the sight of a tall young man. She walked over silently and smiled,"Hello, My name is Anna and I just brought my stallion, Galaxy." She said, in a smooth tone
