Plot Heiress of a pack, finds and befriends a rogue male. The heiress' pack welcomes rogue with open arms, though the rogue has some ulterior motives. Name Fierce Age 5 years old Appearance (Ignore the piercings/tattoos) Personality Fierce isn't a wolf that many mess with on a regular basis, mainly because of his looks. Though, while he may seem like a big bad wolf on the outside, he isn't as bad as one would guess. Fierce would do absolutely anything for his loved ones, and others that he trusted. He hates being talked down to, and isn't afraid to speak his mind. The brute isn't afraid of anyone, besides those that outrank him. Though, even then he isn't exactly scared, he simply just keeps his cool and follows the rules they lay down(sometimes). When it comes to females, Fierce can become rather flirtatious. While his looks may not be the best thing in the world, he tries to swoon them with manipulative words and sweet gestures. If the brute sees something he likes, he will not stop until he gets it.

It had been a rather long day. Even though alone, the brute still travelled a lot. He bounced between places often, and had finally decided to settle down for the night in a hollowed out tree he had found during his travels. He smelt the pungent scents of other wolves -- but Fierce honestly couldn't care any more than what he had about the other pack territories he had intruded onto. The brute knew he could hold his own, and that he wasn't doing anything terribly wrong. Plus, it was almost dark -- who would be out and about now? Flicking his auricles against his crania, the brute trudged into the hollowed out tree, his large frame thudding to the ground as he plopped down. His bright blue gaze looking around the inside of the tree before his crania laid between his paws. Fierce's auricles then perked up as his gaze became lidded. His sense of hearing taking over for his loss of his sight. The brute liked keeping himself on high alert, especially when he was somewhere he knew he wasn't supposed to be. Though -- something awoke him. Almost like his subconcious knew there was something lurking -- someone lurking. Allowing his eyes to flutter open, the brute slowly lifted his large frame from the dirt-littered earth. His auricles veering forward as his nares flared. He didn't smell any other scents other than the ones he already was, and wasn't hearing any movement from outside of his small hide-out. Flicking his tail, Fierce stepped out of the space, his tail high as his hackles raised slightly. The brutes crania held even with his spine as his bright blue hues looked around him. He had always trusted himself when it came to knowing things -- and this was something he knew he needed to trust. He was on a pack's territory, and he'd be absolutely damned if he were to be jumped. How could he not want to be cautious? "Who's there?" The brute bellowed out. His voice rasped and gruff as he spoke. HHis tail lowering slowly as his hackles remained raised. A small growl slowly rising in his throat. Fierce knew he was probably going to be asked something stupid like 'Couldn't I ask you the same thing?' or recieve and dumbass remark like 'I would rethink who you might be talking too.' Though, he wouldn't care very much. If he wasn't bothering anything, why should he be bothered? After a moment, the brute lifted his cranium up, his tail flicking behind him in subtle annoyance at not being able to hear, see or smell whoever might be lurking. Though, he assumed it was because of the amount of scents that littered this border and everything within it. Edited at September 21, 2025 07:22 PM by Speer Ranch

Rebellion. It was a common trait for younglings to have given their curiosity and ambitious behaviors, yet Cosette, although well past such a stage, still endeavored to keep that childish enthusiasm aflame within her being; it was most certainly unwise, yet the unknown had never truly scared her. She had been curled up within a moss nest amongst the other members of the Felder Pack, feigning exhaustion and boredom until the others were blissful in their own slumbers. The dame's cranium slowly lifted from its still position on her crossed paws, her jowls slightly upturned in an accomplished expression. Even if this were a common occurrence, it still felt like a new adventure every time. Cosette hoisted herself upwards before she slunk out of the covered area of where the canines were resting, stretching once she had enough room to do so. Her dark pelt took on a bluish hue as the moonlight cascaded down towards the earth, the silvery tints located at her chest and lower legs seemingly a bright white now due to the lighting. The cool breeze was inviting as she set off away from the familiarity of her home and of the safety that came with being with the other members of Felder. Cosette was aware of the solo patrols that were most likely guarding certain points of the territory; it was becoming more common nowadays, much to her dismay. Her pawsteps were light as her well-muscled legs carried her through the underbrush, her auricles remained pinpointed forward as she kept alert. Cosette occasionally paused in her journey whenever she heard what sounded like wolves conversing before continuing on again, frowning just slightly. She was still the type to feel the tiniest bit of guilt whenever she embarked on her solo adventures. The dame only truly paused and stiffened when an unfamiliar stench penetrated her nasals, a plethora of thoughts rushing through her head; she had lots of options, some wise and some idiotic. Of course, she ended up investigating. Cosette slowly padded forwards as she followed the smell, paws avoiding any loose sticks and foliage that could potentially make a sound. She noticed a small entrance to what she presumed was shelter up ahead, but before she could really think, a large interloper exited the hideout. Cosette froze whilst her blue eyes widened, one of her paws lifted since she had been mid-step. This stranger was massive and was certainly not from these parts, so much so that she shrunk backwards at the rough edges in his voice. There was no point in turning away and.. well, her sire would certainly be aggravated if he found out she had simply ran away from an intruder. ``Cosette,`` her voice was small, but loud enough to be heard. The dame crept forward until she was a safe distance away, yet able to view him properly. He was bigger than her sire, which spoke volumes, and covered in scars that were certainly gruesome and told a tale. Cosette remained tense as she stood there awkwardly, unsure of how to properly handle the situation. You see, her sire wanted her to learn from experience, yet she practically had little to none in this aspect of being a heiress. ``You are.. not from around these parts. Who might you be?``

The bright hues of the male continued their subtle search. The grogginess within them shouting just how exhausted the brute was. Flicking his tail in dismisal, the brute would move to turn his frame, beginning his motion of heading back to his small slumber until he heard it -- that voice. A voice sounding almost like an angels, albeit, he knew that was far from what the source of the sound was. "Cosette." He repeated the name, flicking his auricles about to try and locate the source, that was until the dame showed herself. She was quite beautiful -- though small. As she grew closer, the brute could smell the scents she was riddled with. This wasn't just some pack wolf -- she was important. Though, had he known just how important, he probably would have walked away already. Fierce knew he was intimidating, especially as the world around them grew silent. Though, the dame's feminine, angelic voice sliced through that silence not too long after it had befallen around them. His auricles perked forward at her question, his bright blue gaze raking over her lithe form. "Cute observation." He stated with a small smirk following. Fierce soon shifted his weight backward, sitting back onto his haunches. His eyes only leaving her for a moment to take another look around. He had seen no one else-- and couldn't tell if anyone else lurked nearby scent wise. Hoping no one else was nearby, the brute returned his focus onto Cosette. "My name shouldn't be any of your concern.." He trailed off, lowering his broad crania subtly as his auricles flicked atop of his crown before he lifted it back up. "Though, I suppose since you shared yours so willingly, I would be open to giving you mine." The large candid was bold to assume that the dame had given him her actual name. Albiet, he was sure that is what it was. With a small inhale, the brute gave Cosette his name on the exhale, "Fierce." Giving his name wasn't usually something he did -- at least not as willingly -- given the situation, he assumed it wouldn't be that bit of a deal. At least not this time around. "What brings a pack wolf all the way out here.. at this time of night?" He questioned, shifting his weight forward as he stood up once more. His muscled legs carrying him forward as he circled the smaller dame once. The brutes eyes never leaving her form. Fierce allowed the silence to once again settle, not wishing to hound her with question after question. While he had multiple questions, and wanted answers to most, he still had patience. Something many didn't have nowadays. Getting back around to the front of her, Fierce stood to his full height, holding his head high. He wasn't worried about being attacked -- as he knew if she wanted too, she would have already. Albeit, he also knew that they both knew attacking him wouldn't end well for her. The brute was confident in that thought. Unless she had back-up, Cosette stood little to no chance in a fight. Turning his frame, Fierce sat back down. His frame mere inches from her as his bright blue gaze looked down at her. Tilting his cranium subtly to the right, he'd await an answer.

Curiosity got the better of Cosette as it always does, especially when he moved even closer. The strangest warmth spread throughout her chest as she watched him, her crown tilting to the side. There was something almost captivating about the brute, as if he wasn`t as terrifying as he actually looked; she trusted others far too easily and there was a very high chance it would be obvious to this interloper. Cosette shifted back onto her haunches to settle into a sitting position, tassel draped over her paws. Her ear flicked when he said he wouldn`t humor her and provide her with his name, disappointment flashing across her countenance before it vanished. Fierce. His name was.. Fierce; she supposed it was fitting given his appearance. ``I.. I am merely taking a stroll,`` she stammered as he moved even closer, her blue eyes following his large build as he circled her once. Cosette only relaxed once he was settled at a decent distance, quietly thinking as she stared at him. She wondered if there were others with him, but she figured this wasn`t the case; after all, the only unusual smell that she was detecting was coming from him specifically. Everything else seemed as normal and uneventful as ever. Cosette felt oddly comfortable even though he was basically looming over her as if he were a threat, but she doubted he was going to do something; he didn`t have a reason to, unless he could tell that she was a heiress. ``What are you doing in these parts?`` Cosette perked up slightly as she asked him a question. Her tassel shifted to rest behind her instead of over her paws, crown straightening as she sat more upright. She tried to appear a bit bigger just for the sake of it; she felt like a dwarf right now, after all. ``Surely you know pack territory when you smell it.``

The brute took note of how she stammered over her words as he moved closer to her ten circled her. He found it quite cute, how nervous she-wolves became. Fierce knew he wasn't the most striking in looks, but the way he carried himself is where he got most reactions. "A stroll? In the dark?" He questioned, once again lowering his cranium as he looked onward at her. From what he could see of her, she was quite beautiful. In his eyes anyways. "What are you doing in these parts?" The question made his mind whirl with the multitude of responses he could give. Fierce could be an absolute asshole, and say something along the lines of what she did. The brute could also simply just tell her straight out that he was a mere traveller, and was only sleeping then going to pass through in the morning. Then there was the response that would make him out to be a major asshole. It's none of your business, really... This thoughts travelled to how she would respond to that. Though, his attention was soon caught again as she stated that he should surely know he was on pack territory when he smelt it. Fierce's bright blue gaze swirled with a mixture of emotions. His frame once again pushing forward, his tail swaying subtly behind him as he lowered his head once more to be more even with hers. "Trust me, beautiful. I can very much tell I'm on a pack territory.." He trailed off, once again circling her, keeping his crania held low until he came back around to her front. "I just don't quite frankly care that I am." He stated, his voice having a hint of anger laced within it. Fierce knew his words may strike a nerve. Though, he couldn't quite frankly care. He was a grumpy ass wolf -- at least sometimes. He assumed that this was some sort of test, that there were some other wolves nearby. Perhaps an ambush of sorts? Albeit that couldn't be farther from the truth. Staying stood up, Fierce turned his frame once more. His hues staring straight at her as a grin wiped it's way onto his maw, "I'm simply just travelling.. If it's a problem I'm here, I will move on tonight. You can tell your alpha such." He stated, his voice full of confidence. Almost as if he were acting like he owned the place. "Unless, you are said alpha?" He questioned, not quite sure if this female was such. Fierce was more than likely wrong that even though this dame smelt important, meant that she was. Flicking his auricles back against his crown for a moment, he'd lifts his head to look around, perking them forward once more. He couldn't shake the feeling that there was someone else watching, someone else lurking. He wasn't sure what -- or who -- was watching. "Have you come alone?" He questioned her, his gaze soon travelling back to Cosette as his auricles perked forward, but swiveled non stop atop of his cranium once more. "If so, I can't elp but shake the feeling that there is someone else here..." Fierce allowed his words to trail off as he once again looked around. His gaze not being able to see much of anything more than ten feet in front of him with how dark it was. His muscles tensed a bit as the unesy feeling grew. Soon, his feelings were proven right as a large roar sounded from right behind Cosette. His eyes widened, and without a second thought he quickly used his weight to quickly tackle the dame out of the way as a massive bear paw swiped the ground right where she was just sat. While he couldn't see exacly where it had been, he wasn't giving it a chance to hurt her. His body could handle such a hit, though too him, hers couldn't. Looking down at her, he allowed his gaze to quickly look over her, as if silently making sure she was alright. Though, his attention was soon drawn back to the massive being behind them as it once again roared. "Go back to whereever you came from, don't look back." He stated as he whirled his frame back around, and without a second thought launched himself at the giant beast. Fierce let out a bellowing snarl that quickly turned into a sharp whimper as his body was smacked from the air mid jump. His body rolling across the earth. The bear quickly seemed to turn its attention toward Cosette. This infuriated Fierce, albeit he wasn't sure why. The brute wasn't sure why he couldn't just walk away, and let the bear do what it wished. It was just something about the thought of it that disgusted him. Forcing his frame upward, the brute snarled loudly once more and quickly launched himself at the bear again. This time, landing on its back. Digging his claws in, the brute would gain enough traction to stick just long enough for him to land his jowls around the back of the bears neck. Tearing vigorusly at the flesh, Fierce would try his best to dodge the bears paws as it stood straight up and down, using its front paws to try and get the brute off of its back. It wasn't long after that the bear had managed to get the brute off, grabbing his side with one of it's massive paws, slamming him to the ground in front of him. Fierce let out a snarling yelp, quickly scambling to his paws to stand between Cosette and the bear. His side beleeding a bit from where the bear claws had dug in. "What did I say?! Go!" He snarled back at the dame, hoping she'd just listen.

The dame had always been on the more introverted side of the scale, so it truly was not too surprising for her to be so nervous. Yet at the same time, she had always been eager to befriend others, regardless of who they were and where they originated from; it was most likely why most of Felder enjoyed her company, even if most believed she was far too sheltered by her sire. Cosette blinked when Fierce spoke again, her auricles flattening slightly as if offended he did not believe her. To be fair, it was rather peculiar for a pack wolf to wander at night unless it was for a patrol of some kind; a wolf with her status would only ever dream of taking a stroll by themselves at night when they would be most vulnerable. ``I don`t have the simple luxury of being able to do whatever I want, so I wait for the others to slip into their slumbers,`` Cosette mumbled quietly beneath her breath, so much so she was clueless regarding whether or not he had even heard her. Her gentle blue eyes narrowed slightly as she watched him think; it was a bit amusing how she could somewhat detect every slight nuance in his expression, even if they had just met. She had been trained as a heiress to be firm and confident with both her words and behavior, but she was never such a thing unless she deemed it absolutely necessary. Cosette had always preferred to be more considerate and understanding; the world outside of Felder, after all, seemed like a living hell to her. The dame stiffened when he leaned in and moved to circle her once more, auricles almost awkwardly flicking forwards as she took in his words. Her jaw parted a minuscule amount at his words, the tufts of fur on her shoulders rising slightly in clear offense. ``You are very bold, which I suppose suits you,`` Cosette huffed when she finished speaking, her voice having taken on a more annoyed tone. She did not like it when rogues like him spoke as if they could do whatever they pleased, even if they technically could. The dame had always believed in respecting others and their belongings to a certain extent, including pack territories. She had been too stunned by his words to even notice that he had subtly complimented her; if she had noticed.. well, Fierce would have succeeded in making her a little flustered. Cosette hoisted herself into a standing position, shaking her pelt for a brief moment to rid herself of any foliage and sticks that insisted on clinging to her fur whilst listening to his words. A frown flashed across her face when he spoke of going elsewhere, almost.. disappointed. Even if she knew this interaction was most likely destined to be short-lived, Cosette was truly curious about this brute and wanted to get to know him further. ``As long as you don`t cause trouble, I see no reason for you to have to move elsewhere,`` Cosette eventually replied while a soft sigh slipped past her maw. Her sire would be pissed if he found out about this, especially since it was all because she wanted to succeed in gaining a new friend; it was certainly childish and irrational. She practically froze when he asked if she were the alpha of Felder, a sheepish smile plastered across her maw as her blue gaze darted to the side. ``My sire is the alpha.`` Cosette was not an oblivious fool and she had also suddenly felt that awful feeling of being quietly watched. She turned slightly to the left, auricles perking forwards while her tassel swayed behind her cautiously. Her crown dipped in silent confirmation that she had come out here all alone; for all she knew, this brute might about to try and take her life. She was slowly realizing that perhaps he had a small group with him- a group plotting to destroy the lives of others. Cosette had heard stories of such a thing happening, but he seemed a bit.. tame to be capable of doing that. She barely had time to react before that monstrous roar rang out in the clearing, her hackles raising seconds before Fierce tackled her into the ground. She coughed as she inhaled dirt and dust, ears flattening against her skull as her jowls peeled back slightly. Cosette was grateful, but he had literally knocked the air out of her lungs. Her gaze flicked upwards as she took in the dark shape of the looming bear, a curse escaping beneath her breath. ``Fierce, I`m not-`` before she could even finish what she was going to say, he had already launched himself at the bear. Cosette shook off the dirt as she straightened herself back up, her breathing slightly labored from how quickly things had escalated. She wanted to help him in some way, but clearly even she knew she would not be much help. Never in her life had she seen a wolf be so dedicated to taking down a bear.. let alone protecting her. If her sire had been here, he would have only intervened once she was unable to stand; he was simply that cruel in a way. Her eyes widened when Fierce was flung off of the bear`s back, her build tensing even further if even possible. ``I`m not leaving you with a bear,`` Cosette snapped back at him, taking a step forward as her gaze hardened slightly. She wasn`t completely useless; she knew how to fight, but they both knew that one hit from the bear could seriously injure her. Most dames were more muscled and slightly bigger than she was, so she was even more at a disadvantage. On the bright side, Cosette knew she was agile and fast, so she could at the very least attempt to distract the bastard while Fierce did his thing. Naturally, she went with that plan. The dame launched herself off of her hackles and towards the bear, jowls peeled back in a quiet snarl as she darted to the side before it lashed out at her. If there was one thing she was good at, it was dodging, courtesy of the wolves that patrolled Felder; they had taught her the best they could. She moved to and fro, keeping low to the ground and watching every move that the bear made. Hopefully, Fierce played along and their teamwork would succeed in scaring the bear off. If not.. she was definitely doomed; it took a lot of energy to be dodging this much and this quickly.

Fierce was a bit upset that Cosette didn't just leave. For some reason, he knew he couldn't fathom if she were to get hurt -- or die. A small growl escaped him as he heard her words, watching as she stepped up beside him. His tail lashed out behind him in distain as he returned his focus onto the bear. The growling roars that sounded from the beast could be enough to wake anyone nearby up. It wasn't long though as he felt the presence beside him quickly disappear. Watching as he form moved quickly around the bear, dodging its attacked. Fierce's auricles flicked back against his head as he lowered his head for a moment -- watching as the bear became distracted by Cosette. It didn't take him very long to see what she was doing. While he was grateful, he hoped she wouldn't be hurt in the process. He allowed the bears focus to remain on Cosette for only a few more moments before he once again launched himself at the bear. His claws once again diging into its flesh. Albeit this time farther up on it's neck. His jaws locked around one of its ears, tearing at it, eventually tearing it off. Flinging the piece of cartilage away, Fierce allowed his weight to drop a bit, hoping it'd be enough to throw the bear off as well. Though, the beast once again manged to get him off. This time Fierce rolled and struggled to stand back up, his vision becoming a bit blurred as he forced his weight into a standing position. The brutes lips soon curled back into a snarl, his cranium lowering a bit as his hackles raised. Fierce knew he wasn't going to last much longer, but he also knew Cosette wasn't going to be able to fend this creature off on her own. "If I fall, you run." He stated hoarsely. Fierce meant his words, and truly couldn't care less if he died right here. Albeit his words fell short as the bear seemed to be in enough pain to back away. It's head dripping with the crimson liquid that spilled from where his audit once was. As the beast turned, and ran away, Fierce stumbled sideways before his weight collapsed to the ground. "Fuck..." He muttered, his eyes becoming lidded. "You should go.. That thing won't be back tonight.." He chuckled, his voice still hoarse.
