He nodded, chuckling as he noticed her relax and how her head shifted very close to. . . somewhere it shouldn't be, let's say that. Gale froze slightly, starting to talk about battle stories he twisted to 'delete' all the wounds and horrific moments, making it much easier on the tounge and less terrifying to remember in his mind in a half delayed tone. The man eventually just started rambling, working himself up until his words eventually trailed off. "And then. . . and then. . ." He muttered, breathing heavier as he blinked and realized what he was doing. "Sorry just, worked myself up, I guess. Gale chuckled, his smile forming back on his face.

She was nonethewiser to her beloved's discomfort or unsteadiness as she shifted against him, merely too comfortable to pay it any mind until the course of their conversation shifted. Still, she listened as he rambled on and on, her gentle smile never fading. It was a little odd, but perhaps the day had been much and he was growing tired or overwhelmed. Once he finished and apologized, she chuckled softly and sat up, shaking her head. "That's alright. Is anything the matter? Are you tired?" She asked, wanting to be sure that he didn't need anything.

Gale listened to her question, pondering for a moment before his shoulders slumped. "Overwhelmingly so, I haven't gotten more than maybe two hours of sleep in years." He murmured, running a hand down his face and trough his hair. His blue eyes flicked to the sunset, watching how it's rays danced on his wife, casting her in golden hour lighting which made her even the more beautiful.
