Amira nipped his chest when he laughed "Ok enough giggling like a filly" She mocked. Listening to his game plan she nodded "Okie dokie sounds good to me!" She said with another nod, she looked at the trees ahead wondering if there really were mountain lions waiting for them, she came back out of her thoughts when Widow called back to her "Eek!" She leaped forward into a fast trot to catch up with the steady stallion "Geez so bossy today" She chuckled lightly pulling his mane

The stud snorted at her yelp as she quickly trotted to catch up when she bit his mane he let her drag his neck sideways until he bumped his shoulder into her. "Not bossy I just don't want you to have to explain to ghost in the afterlife how you died because of rabies from a cyote bite" He hopped over a ditch just to be dramatic before slowing to a walk. "Careful" widow murmured "barbed wire, theres human fence here probably from an old cattle pasture just don't get your leg caught" picking his way carefully through the mess of sharp fence he turned to make sure Amira got through it alright. "No need to pick your legs up that high you look like a Morgan" he snorted teasingly nipping her muzzle when she freed herself of the barbed wire.

She grinned in triumph when she got her way pulling on his mane, she rolled her eyes when he said he wasn't bossy, but her attitude changed when he brought up Ghost, ears flicking around, she looked at the stallion thoughtfully, then looked forward "Hmm... I wonder what he'd say to THAT" She mumbled. She paused in her step when he whispered 'careful', looking down she snorted "From those things that killed Ghost..." She muttered, she waited for Widow to pass through, then followed his steps, making sure to lift her legs high to make it over without cutting herself, she glared at him "I am a Thoroughbred mister, I have class unlike those Morgan's" She said returning the nip to his forelock before continuing

Widow tossed his mane as she bit his for lock "dunny said that Morgan's are like top tier show horses for humans your just a scruffy wildy" he teased nipping her neck before walking the earth was tilted at a slightly upward angle now it wasn't much of a difference but the two knew that soon they would be jumping up rock faces and down cliff ledges. "I would guess that the barbed wire would be to keep wild horses away from the mountains. Deer probably broke the wires jumping over the fence " he shook out his slightly damp coat. The stallions pearly buckskin coat caught a nice shine from the sun every time he moved really plus his white patterns and blue eyes just made him look even more flashy.

Amira pinned her ears at the stallion "Yeah well I have way more class than them! And I think I move better anyway" She fought her point, shaking her head at his neck nip then snorting air his direction. She laughed "I hope those poor deer weren't hurt" She said thinking about how dumb they looked all jumping barbed fencing, when the ground started to grow up her hidden anxiety rose a bit, but she kept herself calm "Eeeeee we're getting closer to more snow and less food again... You excited?" She asked, a hint of sarcasm in her tone as she glanced at him -I swear he just keeps getting better and better.. Wait NO. BAD!- She thought to herself looking forward

Widow laughed turning and walking towards the mountains "sure Amira sure" he teased nipping at her mane. He snorted as she started to ramble about the mountains "I'm excited to get to the other side of them but not the actual mountains themselves" the stallion shook out his coat jumping over a sting of barbed wire he landed on a rocky surface and slipped almost falling "whoa! Be careful the mountain starts here" he warned stepping backwards as Amira picked her way through the wire much like she did before. "Maybe your not a Morgan maybe your just part Tennessee walking horse, I heard they get mixed in with though-o-breds a lot" he continued to tease

Amira grinned wide when Widow agreed and nodded "Well yeah, the other side better be worth it! Mmmm I can picture the soft green grass, I guess you COULD say the grass is greener on the other side!" She punned with a small laugh with her cringey words. When he almost slipped she held her breath "Please be careful! The last thing we need is a injured hunky stallion that's TOO HEAVY for me to pick up, to get injured while we're going up hill!" She asked, treading over the wire as she had before without realising the dramatic raising of the legs she was doing, she glared up at Widow when he teased her, gasping dramatically and pinning her ears with a smirk, once over the wire and onto clearer ground she barged into his shoulder to knock him off balance "On the ground you get" She mocked nipping at his neck playfully, to distract herself from looking up at the mountains snow force...

Widow snorted at Amiras words. "Just prepare yourself for shoulder deep snow at the top" he said shaking out his coat and licking his lips. He watched the mare picked her way through then tried to knock him over failing epically "I am not letting you ground me thanks" he snorted before starting up the mountain picking his footing carefully. The big stud slipped a few times his hooves not yet seasoned to the harsh rock and stone. A ugly bird swooped down over the horses heads before circling above them in large slow circles "the vultures are hunting" he mumbled to himself watching the bird

Amira's body slightly shivered at the mention of shoulder high snow, not more snow... She nodded and began walking, staying a bit behind, she pinned her ears at the huge bird, eyes glancing at Widow when he stated the birds stalk for food "Well we ain't dropping, tell the overgrown chicken to go hunt elsewhere" She said a bit rough not looking forward to the mountain journey
