Cougar - "No preference." Cougar said, pawing at the sand boredly. He laid down for a quick roll, before rising and shaking himself off again. "What would you like to do?"

Marble - Marble thought for a moment, contemplating their options. She looked over at the sun, which was getting close to the horizon over the ocean. "We could just watch the sunset," she suggested.

Cougar - "Sounds Nice." He said, lying down beside her. He was still wet from their swim, but the sand was still warm. He gazed out at the horizon, watching colors slowly stream the sky.

Marble - Marble smiled and stretched out in the sand, close to Cougar and watching the sunset over the ocean.

Cougar - After a beautiful sunset, it started to get dark. And fast. Cougar started to worry, afraid they had made the wrong choice. What if they couldnt find their way back to the clearing for the night? What if one of them got hurt tripping over a root? Edited at December 6, 2024 08:54 PM by Cloudier Echoes

Marble - Marble watched the sunset until it grew dark. She lifted her head from the sand and looked over at Cougar. "Wanna head back?"

Cougar - "Yeah.." he said nervously, rising to his feet. He turned, looking back at the dark path they had come from. He had no idea how to find their way back. It was too dark to see clearly, and he wasnt sure if he trusted his instinct to guide them back. He thought of his old falcon, missing the clever bird. With sharp vision, he would usually turn to the bird to guide him, wether it was night or day. He didnt have his falcon anymore, but was instead stuck with the silly duck Marley.
