Caden stayed asleep, face damp from recently crying as he rest, his hands tight around one of Rosa's, the bundle close.

Rosa wakes up the next day, confused and frightened. She tries to tug her hand away

Caden was simply sitting in silence, a look of defeat and dissapointment written on his face. He didn't realize she was up until she tugged her hand away, glancing up before wiping his face dry before looking at her again. "Seems you made it," The man croaked, turnning his gaze back to the floor.

Rosa looks at him, seeming to inspect him. She then realized who he was. "Caden?" she asks softly.

|
"Hm?" His voice was no more of a hum, yet it still held the dissapointment and sadness-don't forget confusion-written in it. Caden's face was damp, eyes red. The man let go of her hand, combing a hand through his hair in spite of unknowing what to do next. After a moment, he looked up at Rosa, his eyes still shining, but the expression was dull as he spoke. "Are me and the twins simply not enough?" His voice was raw, broken, even, as he spoke.

Rosa shook her head adamantly, "You're all more then enough" she whispers. "It's...I'm don't deserve you all. I shouldn't want..." she continues in a whisper

|
"Stop-just stop. You're speaking nonsense, I don't know why you think that but you're wrong, you deserve all of us." Caden said, a attempt to get her to believe him.
