Can I whine about this one for a moment? |
04:01:29 Angel Cats🐈 I am also hoping that, for you, Iris |
04:01:21 Kelan/Rain LOL well if that's all then I guarantee if he's not happy with an apology email he's not worth worrying about. Professors have to deal with arrogant students and staff and parents ALL the time |
04:00:35 whisper/lynx iris i pray it gets better soon <3 |
04:00:05 Void Malign ...Speaking of work e-mails, there's several I'm straight up ignoring right now lol |
03:59:51 Iris Like we talking i plastered "bitch" on my forehead for the rest of the semester |
03:59:24 Iris Rain im so not saying it just know i fucked up and it probably came off as REALLY arrogant |
03:58:42 Iris lynx this hits way harder though because I've pretty much been cooped up in my room for 4 years looking for an entry level job I can walk to without a car x-x I have no friends and this was the first conversation ive had in like 4 years |
03:58:32 Kelan/Rain Also on the him not getting back to you, as a working adult, sometimes emails just sit in my inbox, especially those that I think aren't super time pressed |
03:57:14 Kelan/Rain ... okay now I'm curious if he could take it personally what was the question you asked? |
03:56:45 🎀 Diva give it a day or two, he also might need a minute |
03:56:44 whisper/lynx iris everyone makes mistakes in life. everyone you know has definitely made many mistakes, probably maybe even like the one you made. you'll be fine, because here is everyone else, living life as if nothing happened |
03:56:32 Void Malign It's school, people are there to learn. Dumb questions are going to be asked and honestly, it's not something that needs or should be apologized over. |
03:56:00 Iris Diva I did but my worry is that in his comment he took what I said personally or something and I already did my apology email but he hasnt gotten back to me |
03:55:44 Kelan/Rain I mean, I don't know if it's an American university or if your curriculum is based off having good class participation, but believe me, you aren't the first student they've had ask a dumb question, and you won't be the last. I had my fair share of dumb questions when I was going through college |
03:55:00 Iris myth minecraft aint strong enough this gave me full body stinging tingles like when you think something big and heavy is gonna hit you tingles |
03:54:27 🎀 Diva i totally agree on it, you said something - its far worse you hide and whine about it. Own it instead and move forward, the best is always to pick up your phone or send an email and explain yourself, can avoid a lot of shit that way |
03:54:25 Angel Cats🐈 Try not to worry about it too much, please |
03:54:09 Iris i think ima not show up next week |

(I was thinking that the amulet could be a gift from his grandfather? You most likely have the same idea xD. Maybe it was the thing that could steal the angel's essence... Another question. What is the best way for Alastor to actually start talking to Austin? At this rate, they'll both forget each other exist soon lol) +x+ Alastor Dagon +x+ Alastor looked up as a bouncy young kid entered the store. Innocent looking enough, but as soon as she spoke, all he could think was 'spoiled brat'. She had the trademark high-pitched girly voice that suggested she had asked for a pony for Christmas- and gotten it. He hid a coughing laugh as she asked for a black coffee, and his golden eyes twinkled with amusement as the dad walked in. Not really funny, but something had to be entertaining, right? The guy's voice, however, shut his amusement up and made him want to strangle somebody again. Snooty and conceited. Obviously the bodybuilder thought he knew it all. Alastor's mouth twisted into a hidden grin at the guy's answer- the one he had been talking to. So perfect. He was disappointed that the female stepped in. Would've been funny either seeing the burly idiot roasted or the thin grumpy guy beaten up. Either way, would've been a show. As the same guy walked over to him, he shook his head. He didn't feel the need to offer words. He was done. He did want to sit for a while, so he would pay up front later and- his thoughts were cut off as searing hot pain cut across his head, like a sudden extremely painful migraine. Alastor let out a hiss of agony and flinched back, his face twisting. The amulet seemed to be glowing so brightly it even hurt his eyes. What the hell was this?! With a growl, he half sunk back into the booth, half squinted, and half tried to keep his head from imploding. He tried to speak, but his mind couldn't seem to form words. It fricking hurt! This felt worse than getting stabbed! Or a hangover.

(Mhm! I was thinking literally that XD And maybe Alastor follows him because WHAT THE FRICK IS THAT AMULET????(And maybe Austin kinda notices and is like why are you everywhere?????)) Austin King 👑~👑 Austin raised an eyebrow as the man hissed at him and sunk away. He gave him a confused look. "What the Hell?" He muttered, then sighed. "Okay, well if you aren't gonna buy anything else you kinda can't get away from paying by hissing." Austin said, leaning forward slightly, part of the necklace that the amulet hung on showed. Dark black beads that were some sort of crystal it seemed. Austin's face went back to its cold neutral. "Right. My shifts' about to end so someone else will help you. Have a great day. Or a horrible one. I can't make decisions for you." he said, turning around and walking by a female waitress, Emma, who walked over to the man to help. When he got to the employee-only room, he dug the amulet from his shirt and looked at it in confusion. It was warm... Austin stared at it for a few long moments, recounting the words his grandfather told him when he gifted it to Austin. "It helps protect you. And keep away the unseen." Austin had laughed and shrugged it off. But why had it been burning back there? Austin shook his head, pushing the thoughts aside. He didn't have time to think about that now. He needed to get home for a bit... Austin grabbed his bag out of his locker, slipping off the apron and hat and putting them in place of his bag. He walked out the back door, hurrying to his car and getting in, closing and locking the doors before sinking into his seat. He needed a break. preferably from life. Maybe he could come back as an animal or something? Or maybe his soul would be gone. He snorted. If he had one that was. It sure didn't feel like it. (Yeaaaahh definitely) +x+ Alastor Dagon +x+ Alastor scowled slightly as he tried to clear his head. Well of COURSE the jerk would just stand there and mutter under his breath! Not like he was writhing in pain or anything! "I'm not- trying to get away- from paying." He half growled half winced, but he was just fine that someone else could help him. Thank his boss. He grit his teeth as the pain throbbed stronger when the guy leaned forward. He glimpsed the amulet, his eyes narrowing slightly in suspicion. As the guy left, the ain subsided. Alastor let out a breath and stood, finishing his coffee before going to pay. After he paid, he paused, then made a split second decision. He exited in time to see the guy get in his car and drive off. Alastor disappeared into an alleyway, then wings rolled out of his back, as dark and silver and red and majestic as always. He let out a sigh of happiness as he beat them, shooting up into the sky quite fast. As he soared in the clouds, his eyes sharpened, and he scanned the ground for the car. Quickly finding it, he followed. As the car seemed to slow, he dove down into the treeline, landing and having his wings disappear as he stalked forward. Yes, he was being creepy, but what the hell. He needed to know what that amulet was. Could he steal it? Grumbling under his breath, he fell silent and crouched in the trees, waiting and watching.

Austin King 👑~👑 Austin parked his car, getting out and slamming the door. He stared at the front door. He genuinely didn't want to go in. Austin felt the amulet against his chest warm again. He frowned and looked around, eyes scanning the area. Seeing nothing, he sighed and walked toward the door to the house. Pushing it open he slipped inside, his crystal blue eyes looked over the house. He listened quietly, listening or any foot steps. Hearing none he walked further inside. Austin breathed out a relieved as he realised his father wasn't home. Austin dropped his bag onto the couch, going to the bar and plopping into a barstool. Austin closed his eyes and set his head against the counter. He needed a minute. Actually, he needed so many minutes. Or death. Death worked too. (sorry it's short again!)

Alastor Dagon +×+ Alastor watched as the man parked and got out. So this was obviously the guys house. Exactly what he was expecting... shabby, a little rundown, but liveable. As they looked around, he made sure not to move, and closed his eyes, as they tended to.. glow in the dark. After a couple seconds, he opened them again, scanning the field. They had gone inside. He wanted to know why the amulet had affected him, especially since there was a foreboding tale that he had rather hoped was only a myth that hung in the back of his mind. He swore it was only a story his parents had told him when he was young to get him to never go to earth, or to hate humans. However, it was seeming uncannily real at the moment. He needed to get inside to that amulet, but he couldn't, and he knew that. Alastor decided to try and find the guy at the coffee shop or at the bar- one or the other- and get the amulet, at least for a couple seconds. He wanted to study it. Yes, his mind did warn him that touching something that hurt him if he was too close by was probably a bad idea, but he didn't care. With a sigh of acceptance, he walked out of the woods and away from the house, back on the street once more. He kept walking a little ways before glancing around and dodging into the woods again, letting his wings unfurl, and taking off. After he landed at his home, still wary of who could be around, he let his wings disappear, entering the rundown place and closing his eyes for the night. It had been a long day, and sleeping was important.

Austin King 👑~👑 A few hours later, Austin was back to the bar. He slipped into his car, turned on the car, and pulling out of his driveway. As he drove, his mind wandered to the man that he had run into twice. He sighed. It was weird, but he didn't really care to think about it. He pulled into the bar, parked in his usual spot in the back and got out. Austin took a few moments, staring up at the dark night sky. He could feel a warm breeze brushing around him, but he couldn't hear it. Not over the music from the bar. Austin sighed and walked to the bar, slipping inside and to his locker. he shoved his stuff in the locker, pulling out the apron. He was used to this. it was familiar. ANd that comforted him. Austin walked out of the room, sliding behind the bar. he put on his fake smile once again and walked over to the bar regular, getting them their usual glass of whiskey. (Again, I'm so sorry it's short)

Alastor Dagon - Alastor slept for about an hour before he woke up again. Then fell asleep, then woke up. 4 or so hours later he gave up entirely with a grunt of displeasure and stood, running a hand through his thick black hair. He adjusted his clothing before stalking outside and spreading his wings, flying to town. He landed in an alleyway with a huff, retracting his wings and stalking out, hands in pockets, heading to the bar. Always the bar. There was alcohol at the bar, and although he couldn't get drunk, it would still help him feel better. Maybe. Or maybe just the thought of it would. Whatever it was. He arrived and went inside, immediately seeing the person he hadn't really been able to forget about. He remembered that they worked here- then stored that away for later use. He silently went to sit down at the corner, a very dark corner, and decided, especially now, that he wouldn't provide any music. He preferred the music over the speakers, anyway. He frowned slightly at his lack of sleep, and brain functioning- usually he was top tier, but apparently even he needed sleep. - (I'm short as well, so it's fine. Also, I'm going to try to restart this RP, sorry that I haven't posted in forever!)
