Sage sort of moved to help her up off the couch, and then settled down to sit in the bed so she'd still be warm, but stayed sitting up so he could watch the kiddos and stay up that way

Celeste curled up, immediately falling asleep.

Sage smiled softly when she curled in, just running his hands through her hair gently as he settled in with a sigh

"Stay up, please..." she whispered, terrified for her children.

Sage nodded softly and leaned over to peck her head. "I am, don't worry," he murmured softly

Celeste nodded, drifting off.

Sage held her, but made sure to stay awake, one eye on Celeste and one eye on the kids

Sage was glad he'd taken a nap earlier, since as the night went on he'd definitely gotten tired. Not enough to fall asleep of course, but there would be some long night ahead of them
