The cracked mirror infront of the young witch-blood showed small glimpses of her black and blue faded hair, her breezy golden dress fell to her knees, with black boots that came up to her mid-shin.
Nico stared, she had never dressed like this, never. To her, this world was a place she stayed hidden and safe, never showing who she was... or tried to.
The young Witch-blood backed away from the broken mirror and looked around her worn out shack, it was barely enough to live in.
Some nights were good ones, the dry nights. But sometimes whole waterfalls poured through the holes in the roof, the wind shattering the nail-thin windows.
A small smile appeared on Nico's face, it made her laugh at the fact that no human would ever live like this and accept it.
The witch-blood twirled a strand of her ocean blue and black hair around her finger, it was time to go. Nico put a hand on the wall, saying silent good-byes, today was the last time she was staying in here.
Tiday was the day she was going to be apprenticed to a fully fledged witch and live a better life, a rich one.
Nico smiled again, but soon allowed it to fade, supernatural's weren't allowed to show much emotion, we were supposed to be the monsters we are.
Nico swallowed nervously, turning and walking towards the door, her fingers lingering over the handle before closing her eyes and putting her best foot forward. Things were changing for the better.
Outside, the street was bustling with humans who were brushing past each other and staring at the stalls around them.
The young Witch-blood pushed past them, eager to get to Myles River, where the ceremony will be held.

The trees in Laro forest were tall, ancient beings. They whispered stories of the past, their limbs stretching out, tearing at the sky.
Nico smiled, the humans found this place creepy, but Laro Forest was one of the only places Supernatural beings could be at peace without humans.
The sound of rushing water greeted Nico's ears, at the sound, the young witch-blood gathered her golden dress in her hands and raced forward. Today would be the first time she met other witch's, as the royals kept supernatural's seperate as best they could.
The young witch-blood stepped into the clearing, a small river bubbling happy down through the middle, a circle of tall lady's in white circled a small bit of the river. Three on one side and three on the other.
Nico's eyes widened as she looked at them, each one was beautiful in a harsh sort of way, knowledge wedged into their pretty hard eyes.
The six witch's looked at Nico, who now felt mix matched with her golden dress, black boots and ocean blue and black hair.
"Uh.. Hello?"
