Lynx shook his head lightly, stretching his legs out. "Nope. Not once. I wouldn't trade it for the world." He answered, tone dripping with sarcasm. Blowing out a breath, he crossed his arms and stared vacantly out the window behind her, a perpetually disdained look on his face.

-X- Jane watched him for a moment before noddingonce again, eyebrows furrowed in sympathy. "I see. So, earlier, you said you chose this path for money. Which means you didn't have access to proper care. Correct?" She asked, glancing over the tip of her glasses to seeif her theory was correct.

Lynx scrunched his nose up at her question. "If by proper care you mean food, water, and shelter? Then no. I did not have access to those." He snapped, glaring at her for a moment before he turned his gaze out the window again.

-X- "Are you an orphan?" She asked. She was a forward person. Though sewas still sympathetic towards her patients. She was watching Nikolai curiously, but also with her eyebrows furrowed as her pen tapped against her lips.

"I wasn't always, but I am now. Dear old Dad and Mom are dead." Lynx shrugged, sighing somewhat dramatically. He was already bored, his fingers tapping restlessly against the arm rest.
