Violet looked back at Zane. "Work? No thanks, but if I don't work I'll be locked up anyway. Actually that sounds better. No work at all and being left on my own." Violet grinned back at Zane's fake smile. "But seriously, aren't you going to torture me or something if I don't get my work done?" Vi asked, tilting her head and frowning.

Zane shrugged, "depends on what sort of work it is" he said, "but you have to get those invitations ready by tonight" he smiled thinly at her, his eyes not quite reaching the smile.

Okay, now Violet was getting unsettled. This guy was way creepier than the evil hermit who liked to eat children she had imagined in her mind. But at the same time he wasn't.

"Alright then. Could you show me where I will be making the invitations?"

Zane snorted, "I was going to do that" he muttered, walking into the vast royal library, the book selves reaching the high roof. Each one full of books. "Plenty of books in here of who you will be inviting" he said

Violet looked around the room with wide eyes. "Oh my-" Vi turned to Zane. "There's so many books. That'll be do many people. H-how will I get this done by tonight?"

Zane turned and gave her a nasty smile, "you will be up alllll night" he said, then tilted his head, "just make sure your awake enough to join the hunt tomorrow" Zane laughed

Violet sighed quietly and walked over to a desk. A book was already lying open on it. She sat down and copied out the first name then writing put the rest of the message. Looks like there's no way put of this. This is going to be a longgg night
