He grinned as Laura shouldered the rifle and wrapped her arms around Mercy as well. L "All of us are fine," She smiled brightly, reaching out to Luke as he pulled her in for a hug. "I'm so glad to see you." He giggled, a hand on her shoulder like Mercy had. L "How are you guys? Make it out okay?" He nodded. "There was a little bit of a scare in the middle but neither of us got hurt. My hand works better now." He held it out and pulled up the sleeve. He had a very impressive scar there. It was slively concave along almost the entirety of the scars. He made a fist and then let it go. He was happier now that it worked better.

Mercy wrapped her arms around Laura again before letting her go with a puzzled expression. "We're alright. But, all of us? How many people made it out?" She asked curiously, lifting her head to look around. Edited at February 25, 2024 03:35 PM by Widow Valley Farms

Laura giggled at his childlike proudness, then turned her attention to Mercy again. L "there are seven of us, Adam, made it out too." She looked over at Luke, he smiled, quite happy. "By the way thank you for not shooting us." He grinned, she snickered at him as she turned, gesturing for them to come into camp with her.

"Wow, thats great." Mercy grinned, shooting Luke a happy smile. She walked at his side, wrapping her arm around his waist and glancing around as they advanced on the camp. She rolled her eyes at the joke. "It was much appreciated." She chuckled.

He smiled down at Mercy, he glanced around their camp, it looked pretty organized, clean. He sat down on the ground by the fire, recognising most of the faces. He found Adam, who smiled at him. Luke grinned and waved lightly, leaning back on his left hand. One knee was up and the other curled up. "So what actually happened? We never saw what went down." He tipped his head, an open question, but he was mostly looking toward Laura. A "Someone managed to walk in with a bite the night before. She bit a few people in the night apparently, assuming in the bar. Next morning we all were eating and she walked out, got in line and bit the dude in front of her. The rest of the Misted walked out and soon it was a free for all of biting and shooting. We came out through the main entrance and shut the door. You probably took the side." He nodded. "Sounds like you had all the fun while we were asleep." He teased sitting up.

Mercy followed Luke's lead, glancing around the camp with a smile. When he sat down she settled beside him, shooting Adam a light smile as she found him, glancing around and seeing no other familiar faces. As Luke offered his question, she reached over and gently intertwined their fingers together. She seemed to enjoy doing that, whenever she could get away with it. She looked back at Adam as he started an explanation, wincing slightly at it. But it did make sense. "Sorry we missed the party, I guess we aren't the best at waking up early." She joked, looking off at the trees warily.
