French Fries...did they originate from France? She shrugged, Took one, and took a small bite, She winced- somewhat disgusted... Note to self, Potatos, are, disgusting. She left money on the table as she wanted to get out of there quickly, Walking back into town she was able to snag a room in a somewhat fancy building. She laid back in her bed, Pushing against what the humans called 'pillows' She did admit they were quite comfortable, yet she was silently wondering how she'd get Sage to trust her tomorrow, If she couldn't do it tomorrow, She could always pay him again, Hopefully, he wouldn't question her actions in paying him to be with her all day tomorrow, She was surprised he had even agreed.

Sage worked until close to midnight, clearing the drinks out around eleven and eventually having to threaten them with a gun to get them out. He finally locked the doors behind the last one and let out a heavy breath, leaning against the door, giving himself only a few breaths to try and catch his breath before starting to clean. It had to be perfect by morning or his boss would beat him black and blue ...he'd been mad about sage taking a day off, but legally he couldn't say anything about it. Sage didn't take many days off. He spent the next few hours cleaning off the tables and dishes before starting to sweep the floor, clean the windows, and wipe up the kitchen. Hed hopefully have a few hours to rest before going out with....whoever that girl was.

She woke up early in the morning, Maybe a bit too early, Valerie sat up in the bed, yawning, Before putting her hands up defensively as the sun shone through the window, Clearly she had forgotten to close it. Sighing, Valerie got up, Changed, And left her room. She was defiantly in a better mood than yesterday, It was morning, Which meant that she'd have hours to get Sage to trust her, yet Val was unsure of what they were going to do yet...the first thing she needed to do was get to the tavern, and she did just that, Weaving between the people who were up early ready to head to work.

Sage had gotten around two or three hours of sleep before the sun woke him up, and he got up with a sigh, beginning his habit of putting menus on all the tables. Then he remembered he had to meet the girl outside the tavern in....shoot. He had like a minute. He hurriedly finished setting the menus down, since no one else seemed to be responsible around here and he didn't want the tavern getting a bad reputation...he needed this job. Once he'd finished he paused to catch his breath as much as he could in only a moment of rest before opening the tavern door and closing it behind him, making sure to lock up. The next person who worked would have a key to unlock it and open it for the day. Then he turned around to see if the girl was already there.
