I don't read nearly as much as I used to to be fair. I do love having books just around me though, it gives such a nice vibe to a room

Whilst I don’t read physical books very often, I do looove hoarding pretty books that I’ve read in another format though. If you like pretty books don’t look up the Folio Society, their website is my kryptonite

Ahhh I feel the same sometimes, there are definitely some narrators who I instantly can’t stand haha

I lowkey collect old books. I've got some that are from like the 80s that made it in because they're super pretty, but my oldest ones are from the 1800s. I don't *think* I've got any from earlier, although it is hard to tell as obviously quite a lot of the early ones aren't dated anywhere

I hate listening to the narrators try and do a voice of their opposite gender. Like a female narrator lowering her voice to sound male. It just throws it all off for me

I always get frustrated at the narrators not being the exact idea I have of the characters or at the speed they read. Audiobooks sound lovely but they are NOT for me lmao

I love audiobooks
I listened to them all the time when I worked at the farm. I could go through two a day lol. But now I don't have time to listen to any and I can't stand only listening to 30-40 minute snips at a time

Same here, Angel. My husband and I both love scrounging through second hand book stores. He has one from the 1860s o.o

I lost all my books sadly. We lived briefly with my in-laws while saving for our house, and some stuff was left there for storage but we were never able to come back and get them.

Not sure, if anyone is merely interested in canine-based RPs at this time, but I'm putting this in, in case someone stumbles on it, or perhaps, I'll link it in chat and hopefully latch some people's attention. All the essential information will be written down, everything that I require and can give.

╭╮

My interest is exclusively in utilizing wolf-based characters for the plotline. While I enjoy all genres, I am particularly interested in including romance. Nonetheless, I am open to exploring adventure or horror genres as well and do not believe that romance is an absolute requirement.

I have limited experience with different sexual orientations, so I tend to favor heterosexual relationships. I have an impartial and proficient understanding of both male and female perspectives, prioritizing realism and precision. I typically write anywhere from 600 to 1,000 words depending on the needs of the story or moment. The same goes for my partner, who is welcome to write more. Regardless of the word count, we strive to keep the writing engaging by exploring various elements such as the environment, conversation, thoughts, emotions, weather, and time. I greatly value receiving precise and particular details in the responses, and such contributions are significantly noticed and admired. In my partner's replies, I appreciate their exceptional grammar abilities and embrace their capacity to express their originality.

Forums are required, since in there, it doesn't get disorganized and keeps my responses neat and appealing. However, I wholeheartedly welcome the use of character sheets and backgrounds. I have a strong inclination towards comprehensive storylines that possess the ability to impact the entire pack, such as a pack war, that instills suspense and sorrow.

While I excel in creating storylines, as shown by the examples below, I am open to integrating your ideas with mine into a mutually satisfying narrative!

Sorry if this is way too formal, I'm definitely more chill in PMs! :)

Examples of Plotlines:

"The Lost Wanderer"

In the vast wilderness, two wolves from diverse packs, Character A, a lone wanderer, and Character B a spirited wolf, cross paths unexpectedly. Both wolves carry their own scars and secrets, yearning for connection amidst their solitude. As they undertake a voyage together, their hearts open to the possibility of love. However, their packs are deeply rooted in animosity, fueled by a history of conflicts. Their forbidden romance becomes a test of loyalty and allegiance as they navigate the treacherous terrain of their pack's rivalry. The wanderer and the spirited wolf must choose between their love and the ties that bind them to their respective packs, risking everything for a chance at a future where love can conquer old wounds.

"The Moonlit Serenade"

Under the enchanting glow of the moon, two wolves, Character A with a hauntingly beautiful howl and Character B with an enchanting voice, discover their shared love for music. Their melodic harmony ignites a profound connection, transcending the boundaries of their packs. They retreat to secret meeting places, creating soul-stirring melodies that touch the hearts of all who hear them. However, as their music begins to draw attention, their packs become aware of their forbidden bond. Character A and Character B must decide whether to hide their love and sacrifice their art or face the consequences and defy their packs' expectations, proving that the power of music and love knows no bounds.

"The Guardian Spirits"

In a mystical forest, two wolves, Character A with an affinity for the spirit world and Character B with a deep connection to nature, discover their shared ability to communicate with the spirits that reside within the land. They embark on a journey together, guided by their spirit companions, and uncover ancient prophecies that foretell a future where their packs must unite to protect the forest from imminent danger. As they delve deeper into their shared destiny, their love blossoms amidst the mysteries and perils they encounter. However, their packs, rooted in skepticism and fear of the unknown, are resistant to change. Character A and Character B must bridge the gap between their packs, convincing them of the real threat and the power of love and unity, to fulfill their destined roles as the guardians of the forest.

"The Visionaries"

In dreams and visions, two wolves, Character A with prophetic dreams and Character B with an intuitive sixth sense, receive glimpses of a future where their packs unite in harmony. The visions lead them to each other, and their shared experiences in the realm of dreams form a deep bond. However, their packs are steeped in distrust and suspicion, dismissing their visions as mere fantasies. Character A and Character B must navigate the challenging task of convincing their packs of the truth behind their dreams, while also nurturing their love amidst skepticism. As the events in their visions begin to unfold, their love becomes a beacon of hope and guidance, ultimately leading their packs toward a future where dreams and reality intertwine.
