Ian jumped a bit as the young woman came up to introduced herself. He was deep in his own thoughts and not paying attention to his surroundings. A smile tugged at the edges of his lips as he looked over at the cute young woman, noticing the pinkness of her cheeks. "Hey, welcome Anna." He said lightly as he finished up the grain, putting the bucket to the side so he could give his undivided attention to Anna. "My name's Ian, and that little flirt out there is Ivy." He chuckled as he turned and pointed to her. Ivy turned her attention away from Galaxy for a moment to whinny to her boy before urging him to hurry up with breakfast.

Anna giggled softly and nodded, "Well, nice to meet you Ian!" Anna smiled and called to Galaxy, "Come on boy, time for a walk!" Anna shot Ian a smile and hurried over to Galaxy as he left Ivy and came to her. Grinning like she wouldn't stop, Anna tacked Galaxy up and rode out into the cool morning. Birds sang in the leafy, green trees and mist hung suspendend above the ground. Anna pulled at the riens gently and slowed Galaxy as she admired the fields of violets and other wildflowers.

"Very nice to meet you as well, Anna." Ian said with a small smile as he watched her hurry over to her stallion, tack up and rode out. 'She seems pretty nice,' Ian thought to himself as he walked with the bucket out to Ivy, who had watched the pair go on with their morning ride. Ian held the bucket up while the little mare ate. Once finished, he lead her to the cross ties for a good grooming session. The mare stood unhooked with her hip cocked, watching her boy as he groomed and scratched all of her favorite, harder to reach spots. She'd stretch her neck out, top lip quivering when he got to the best spots. Ian laughed at Ivys silly faces with pure joy as he continued to pamper his precious horse.

The strong, proud stallion sugerd underneath Anna as she rode him back to the stables, her hair whipped out behind her, flowing like water. As Anna came broadside along the stables, she slowed Galaxy and jumped off lightly. The big stallion snorted as she lifted off the tack and carried it into the tack room. She plopped the equipment onto it's holders and walked back to Galaxy, towel in hand. Galaxy streched out as she rubbed sweat off of his shining coat. She smiled and picked up her grooming tools. Galaxy shifted as she carefully groomed a bur from his tail. She carefully pulled as many of the hairs loose as possible before working the pesky thing out. She tossed it out into the field and began grooming his coat. When Anna had completed all of this, she went back to the tackroom and fetched Galaxy's blanket. She puased, for Galaxy snorted and moved away when she tried to put it on him, "Maybe it is warm enough, I won't put the blanket on you today." Anna hung it back up and led him into his stall, smiling, she let the handsome stallion loose into his pasture. Anna smiled when he took off at a fast gallop. She walked over to Ian, "Do you mind if I give Ivy this?" Anna asked, holding out a apple. Edited at February 3, 2023 10:53 AM by Raven Field

"Oh of course not! She'd love it." Ian chuckled as he finished brushing the grulla mares coat. The little mare was reaching forward in the cross ties, lips quivering as she begged for the delicious apple. Ian laughed as he dipped into the tack room to retrieve the grey and black saddle pad, walking back out to lay it gingerly on her back. Going back inside, he grabbed her light western saddle and bosal. Hanging the bosal and mecate reins around his shoulder, Ian got to work saddling the plucky mare. After he was done, he ran his hands across the tooled leather in admiration of the hard work put into the tack.
