Sage couldn't help but laugh when she mentioned squeezing him harder, just giving her an amused look. "I'm not entirely sure popping my eyes out is showing me very much love," he noted with a snicker, leaning into her touch anyway. Though, when she mentioned they needed to get up, he nodded with a groan. "The kids are downstairs doing... something," he noted. He'd heard them go down the stairs a few minutes ago, anyway.

Mari gave him a bit of a chuckle, though soon rolled her eyes. "I dunno, Sage... You'll feel the love if I squeeze you," she chuckled softly after a moment or two. "And if your eyes pop out you can't get into any more trouble. Seems like a win win to me!" She chirped happily after a moment or two. When he mentioned the kids, though, she just let out a soft sigh and moved to peck his cheek before forcing herself to sit up. "I supposeeee we have to get up," she sighed dramatically after a few little while, soon enough just flopping back down on the bed.

Sage sort of just rolled his eyes at her comment, shaking his head. "If my eyeballs pop out I won't be able to see your pretty face anymore though," he huffed with a grin, sort of moving to get up and off the bed when she agreed. He sort of leaned over her when she just flopped down though, still grinning at her. "Ah, but I'm sure our children are wondering why we're not coming down," he teased. "I guess I'll just have to tell them it's because you're comfy in your bed," he added with a chuckle, pecking the top of her nose lightly.

(So sorry i've been completely awol - packing and shit!) Mari huffed out a breath at his comment, then shook her head solemnly. "You already can't see all that much of it. So what if you suddenly go blind," she teased gently after a moment, just stretching out tiredly on the bed. Her eyes kind of followed him as he sat up, and she couldn't help her slight smile when he came back over, kind of reaching her hand out to hook over the back of his neck. "Our children are probably thrilled they get the run of the house for... however long they've been awake," she mused, leaning up to peck his lips then just letting go and flopping back down. She contemplated everything for a few moments before deciding that she should... probably... get up.

(you're good lol...I get it, life gets hectic sometimes) Sage sort of rolled his eyes at her comment, sort of pouting over at her. "Well what little i can see I don't want to give up," he huffed, eyes glittering with laughter. He hummed in a sort of agreement when she mentioned the kids were probably thrilled to get the run of the house, a smile reforming on his face as he kissed her back. "Probably," he agreed lightly. "We'll have to spoil their fun before they set the house on fire though," he added as a joke. Really, the kids were responsible enough that would likely never happen.
