was she taken or was it an attempted kidknapping?

Nobody knows :/ it's been two months since she was reportedly seen, so we don't know if she's been kidnapped or if she's even alive at this point :( it's quite sad

I really do understand. I know what it is like to be placed on an amber alert. When I was younger, I was living in Virginia. I lived in a ban neighborhood with bad people. Shootings, gang violence, stuff that gave you nightmares just thinking about it. My family had two dogs. At the age of 10 I started training one of my dogs, a Schnauzer, how to be a personal protection dog. She already had the instincts to be one. She was probably and is probably one of the only reasons why I am here today.

Man that sucks I'm glad you're still here though :( I got pranked by a 'friend' and was told someone was breaking into my house. They even came up to my door and were knocking and rattling the doorknob and I could've sworn that was the night I died or lost everything :/ luckily i had never told them I had a dog and she ended up barking so much and so loud that she scared them off :/ I'm not friends with the person anymore, but it has definitely caused me to have probably permanent anxiety when I'm alone

Its scary. It is a really truly scary thing. That was awful of your friend to do that and it is a good thing that you did have your dog to scare them off. I have social anxiety and its a constant battle to try and get rid of it. We actually use to test my dogs to see what they would do if someone broke in. We used a bit suit to see what would happen. My Schnauzer of course saw them as a threat and attacked and my Olde English barked. She was big enough to scare someone off with her bark but when my Schauzer was mad, intruders beware XD. Though I had also trained her to be super friendly to people that I allowed her to be friendly towards. For example if we were on a walk, she would heel and be super happy to see other dogs and people but if she felt something was off or if I felt something was off, I gave her a command after she alterted me and if I felt it was necissary. She was such a smart dog. Dogs are able to do things that we can't even imagine. We never sent my dogs through professional training or anything but my mom has a syndrome that causes her to have almost seizures. My dogs both began alerting her almost a day before she would have her episodes and my mom eventually noticed what they were doing.

I really want to have a big fluffy dog to be trained to be my social anxiety dog :/ I have so many fears and phobias too lol

huskies, bernese mountain dogs, GSDs and pyrenees make really good social anxiety and working dogs
