Ugh Gemma's being such a dick about quests today
Alpine Acres

Thanks Min! The mare herself is apricot so that should work :D
Minerva

Yep Lily, as long as the foal catches the prl and the other parent is at least Ee Prlprl CcrC there's a possibility for it

Right! She's got a great personality, too. I just love her! And she's proving to be a fantastic mom, too <3

Lordy that's a lot of milk, what a good girl!
7 Bar 6 Ranch
09:50:10 RRR (Jo)
Yes! She had one other freshening as a yearling, and stayed in milk for over a year and a half and was still producing about a gallon a day. I'm hoping I can do another extended lactation with her this year :D
Minerva
09:48:41 Min
Oh nice so this is her first lot of kids for you?
7 Bar 6 Ranch
09:48:23 RRR (Jo)
We bought her beginning of October last year
Minerva
09:47:12 Min
Is she a new buy for this year then or have you had her a while?
7 Bar 6 Ranch
09:45:39 RRR (Jo)
She is! I'm so glad we bought her for multiple reasons lol
Minerva
09:45:16 Min
Aww what a good girl!

She's handling them all super well. She a dairy goat so I know she has the capacity to produce for them. If anything I might supplement the runt with a bottle because he's just not quite as on top of it as his siblings yet...
Minerva
09:44:11 Min
Ooh yeah nice catch- always devastating when you're too late on things like that
7 Bar 6 Ranch
09:43:39 RRR (Jo)
Yes! I was expecting triplets at most. I've never had quads before. Thankfully everybody presented well. The last one was in the sac when he hit the ground and I'm sooo glad I was there to break the sac 😅
Minerva
09:42:57 Min
Ooh lovely!! Is quads off a goat as annoying as quads off a sheep or can they handle so many?

Fresiens are just pure black (I think double agouti gene? I can't remember) sport horses

no freshiens are also white, a very rare color passed on by genetics but seen i forget his name but this white freshien gelding was great at dressage, and showed in 2007 but not complainin

The thing is, white is a dominant gene so in order for a friesian to have white, at least one of its parents must have had white. Which makes it *less* uncommon.

I mean mutations are a thing that happens so it might be possible. But HIGHLY unlikely and impractical to incorporate.

Rocky Mountain Horse -

Color Requirement:

Dark Flaxen Liver Chestnut

Flaxen Liver Chestnut

Height Requirement: 14.2 - 16 hh

Breed Requirement:

RID I think would be most fitting of the breed.

Morgan -

Color Requirement:

Any colors. What if it was only present on Tobiano patterns? If any other pattern arises, it's no longer a Morgan.

Height Requirement: 14.1 - 15.2 hh

Breed Requirement:

WB

Purebred Arabians -

So, what if instead of beginning with an Anglo (Half Arab - half TB) you begin with say....an Egyptian Arab (What is generally referred to as a desert bred) or a Purebred? Then, you can breed said Arab to a TB to produce your Anglo instead?

We can also take into account it's lines. If it's Sire was Egyptian where it say's Sire, it can say "Egyptian-Sired".

Just a quick thought. :)

Quarter Horses -

Same as with Arabians, except it delvs more into line generations. So, you start with your typical American Quarter Horse. Then you're able to breed to your TB and get your "Appendix". But you can only foal an Appendix from an American x TB or an American x Appendix crosses. You can't keep going down the line with breeding your Appendixes with TBs. An Appendix x TB cross will result in an ISH. So, to keep the Appendixes going, you can only have a single generation of TBs in their lines.

Chincotague & Assateague Ponies -

Breed Requirements: PON

Capture Requirements: Capturing a PON on the Beach area.

Breeding Requirements: The Chincoteagues would need to remain under the PON height requirements, and be completely purebred to Chincoteagues as well.
