For the poem's maybe 100 word's. And also for the poem, you could tell them to have to use vocab that you say, like for example you could say that they needed to use the words _____, _____,_____ somehwhere in the poem |

You're not going to get very much writing for the short story/essay with that limited number of words. A typical page in word is 500 words, or thereabouts. Same goes for poetry, at least, if you want any sort of length. |

I think it should be a voting thing. Themes would be cool. Like round one has to be about a holiday, theme two about an animal, etc. That way everybody is working with something similar. |

I would love to see this! I could help compile a list of codenames if needed. And I think it would be fun to have each round be a different genre, e.g: R1 is Action, R2 is Romance, R3, Horror. That's just an example lol. For poems, possibly have a criteria to meet like say, your writing has to be 8-6-8-6 for syllables, or rhymes ending in -air, or write freeform poetry, or write lyrics to go along with a chosen instrumental melody or tune. Just ideas, I think this is an amazing idea! Edit: Also, maybe rather than perhaps 100-200 words, have it be a minimum of 100-200 words. So you have to at least squeeze into the limit but you can go longer. |

Poetry should be a physical length, like a page, as that is a different art format. Short stories should be about 1-2000 words, essays maybe 1500. Though I'm not sure how essays would work. Would they be judged based off thesis statements and conclusions? |

Essay was kind of just the name for the length I came up with XD I just want there to be limits so nobody writes an entire novel. |
