I thought it might be interesting to keep a tally of WW combo's of each age. I am sure there are other fellow HEE nerds who may find this interesting and not just weird! Bracketed numbers are wild horses. Please do let me know if there are any corrections.

Week 7 training does seem to be a reasonable indicator of strength - horses are unlikely to hit the top of the leaderboard without at least 1 or 2 traits up at week 7.

However week 11 seems a much better indicator of strength generally - no top LB horses had less than 2 traits up by week 11. Sadly as most studs will land on the LB before this it may not be that useful to know this!

Obviously the leaderboards are a pretty good indicator of strength, however as top mares are likely to be sent to top studs I do wonder if there is a slight bias - less proven studs are likely to be sent to mares with poorer stats. It would be nice to have a more defined way of determining strength from training alone. I have been doing experimenting but I think to get an accurate indicator of exactly how fast each stat trains you would need a much longer training record than most people tend to keep.
