It's almost time for Halloween / All Hallow's Eve / Samhain / Dia De Los Muertos. I would love to see what cool & creepy horse stories, facts, and legends you all have to share!

To start off, horse skulls were often used in construction of churches and dance halls in medieval times. Were the horse skulls just for accoustics or to keep evil spirits away?

Not really spooky, but interesting :)
Superstitiously, horses tails were plaited with ribbons to keep them safe from witches
