Del,
Well, she was whiny in general, too. I was too small to pick up a german shepherd safely and refused, suddenly it was passed off as "refusing work."

Amongst other things.

One time she snapped at me for "snarking" at her when I said, in a polite tone, "alright, I understand" to something she explained.

If thats truly how it is there, then I would start looking for a new position. Working in an environment where you have to constantly second guess yourself is stressful. Not good for the mental :)

My prior internship I got "fired" from. Why? An older lady who was overseeing me and all of my daily activities dropped a can of treats on the floor. She looked really in pain when she bent over to pick them up, so I offered to help.

She looked like I just screamed an insult at her...

But like I said there is always two workers and we do it all together. The main person I work with and do everything with is the Manager, which is the owners second in command

Sometimes people will explain how to do something one way but actually complete the task another. We dont always completely verbalize our process. There might be some unspoken rules that are at play here that you can only see if you shadow the task. Im sure this is frustrating.

Yep. That is one of the main reasons I left my last job. I worked there for almost 6 years and did everything the same way all those years which is the way I was taught and told by the owner. Then suddenly everything I was doing was wrong.

I would ask to shadow the owner or a coworker again for those tasks. Maybe a step in the task is escaping you and you don’t even realize it.

Well, the owner can't have it both ways. They can't train their employees one way, and do the same thing a different way. It's just gonna confuse, and piss off said workers. They get paid to do what they're trained to do.

Is the owner the type is person where they need to do things themselves in order for it to feel like it was done right? The issue could have nothing to do with you personally. Are there other workers there you could ask to see if there is something that you might be missing?

Ways to Make More Ebs? July 8, 2018 04:51 PM

Hi all,
So I'm not willing to spend real money to buy ebs (assuming that is an option), and I have my horses set to show on specific days every single week, but aside from that, how can I make more money? I'm not willing to sell any horses.
My husband signed up with my referral link and has been playing for 3 days now but I haven't gotten any money from the sign-up.
I get a reward every day for signing in, but I was wondering if there are any other quicker ways to get money? I have ALMOST 100,000ebs which I want to spend on a new barn but if I do that right after I get 100k, I'll be broke again and won't even be able to afford to show.
Any tips?
Thanks!

Start breeding with PEE mares to EEE public studs. Don't spend all your money, but a PEE ISH mare is around 20-30k right now depending on production. Match her correctly according to training, and either keep or sell the foal. Matched correctly, you have a good chance at PEE or even EEE.

Honestly, I'd say invest in geldings. You'll lose money for a bit, but after that, they pay off very well.
Get at least 25 of them, probably look for level 2-3 ones. Show them every day you can (When they're ready to) and you'll be making tons of money. Then keep buying more and more to keep the cash coming. Yes, it takes time, but it's very worth it.

Also, be sure your riders are assigned 10 horses if possible and fire the ones you don't need. It saves a lot of money in the long run.

Oh, and FR horses at 2 years old if you don't want them/can't sell them.

Show. Show. Show. And show some more. You only have 23 horses, which means 69 shows total per week. The show cap is 1500. You need to buy that barn, buy those geldings, and show the crap out of them. That is the system to make ebs in this game.

Everyone says to show but all I have done was lose money through showing. I have used EVERY SINGLE feature on my barn manager. She has assigned and hired riders for me and so much more and yet I'm still losing money. I can barely afford a PEP as of now. And nobody wants to buy my horses so I save all my daily prizes through the month now and in the end I can typically get a barn or a new horse I want. Sometimes its a new stable set or a premium refill. I really don't know what to tell you.

I don't use the BM because I don't like her. She helps with my riders and entering my Feds but I like to do my shows by hand. I suggest looking on the forum to find guides on how to do so.

That's likely because you have the BM set to show every horse all the time. Your horses won't always be ready to show all of the time, or won't be ready to show in every discipline. You need to spend weeks training them up to the point where they are ready to show at any given level. They will be in the money for a couple of weeks, and then need to train up to be in the money again.

The other problem that you have is that most of your horses are poorly rated. I know that you don't care about ratings, but it can affect your show ponies. Those SubSubSub horses that are placing 11th and 12th right now? They'll take anywhere between 8 - 12 weeks to train up and be making a profit. It will be that way for every single level. Now, they will stay in the money for 4 - 6 weeks as opposed to 2 - 4 weeks for higher rated horses, but it will take you forever to get there.

I went through your barns, and you have about four horses out of the 23 you have that actually making a profit. That's why you are losing money, is you're showing horses that aren't ready to show. Your SSS+ 2 year old colts are the only ones turning a profit, but even that's at the low end of the scale since they're placing 7th and 8th. With a week or two more training, you'll have those four turning a profit. Most of your horses will take about 8 weeks before they start to though.

Thank you for this I was wondering what to do to start out I'm just restarting my account so I've made a lot of mistakes big one is trying to breed to start off with dumb idea and worrying to much about what others think or about ratings I don't worry about that meaning I have my own way to determine good horses without ratings it's a big money sink among other things don't worry I've got my head straight now, so thank you for this it is exactly what I'm doing so I will continue till I'm ready for more show horses :) I'll just figure out when to breed and when not to.
