I love the Sundews, although I’m not sure what they would say to our climate.

The carnivorous plant diet varies based on plant. The pings get ground up bloodworms while the sundews just get whatever they can catch, though I'm tempted to get a wingless fruitfly colony for them. Flytraps get small things in their traps or if they happen to catch something. Pitchers are just the garbage disposals

How do you do it? I mean, keep your sanity. I always have such big dreams of super cute ponies with WC bravery and map earning, but I always lose motivation as soon as testing comes around. :(

What holds your interest? Is it the maps? LBs?

The decor does NOT hold my interest, so I'm genuinely curious if there's anything else that's fun to you guys? Maybe it'll help with mine, too.

As someone who`s most recent batches absolutely went terrible, I feel your frustration. Bravery feels completely random to me and W x W Bravery matches do not guarentee a W. I do it for the hopes of getting on the LBs, which a completely random breeding did give me a ABLB bravery stud somehow.. he gets pushed off a lot though since he`s not used much (if that`s how it works, lol). I kinda like the gamble when it comes to bravery, but that may just be me, xD

Anyways, I look forward to just doing exploring and getting as many levels I can every year; I love unlocking new biomes as well. Breeding cute foals is definitely a plus, and, if you have the extra room or not too against having Elite bravery horses here and there, I keep Elite bravery horses if they have lots of color just for exploring or fun breeding projects. Sometimes, my Elite braves throw me a W bravery. Exploring is also a easy (I think) way to get some quests done too, if you get them, and earn ebs on the side. Hopefully this helps, even if only a little, <3

Hoping bravery does work out in the end for you! It can be a lot of fun in the end, :)

It's not the randomization that catches me, it's the testing itself. Something about the exploring on an unknown horse and potentially it not even spooking... It drives me crazy. It feels so time-consuming to intentionally want to fail and give up a reward at the end.

Ohh, I see. Misunderstood there, my bad, xd. But I think the same still applies (motivation-wise for me). It does get on my nerves when it takes multiple tries to figure out the bravery of an untested horse. Wormy apples could always help, but most of the time they don`t even help me unless I use a ton, which is not ideal. It sucks even more when the horse ends up being superb or something. I kind of view it as a challenge though. I`m not extremely invested in bravery, so I don`t mind it taking a day or two, but more than that is just.. not fun. Anywho, I mainly just focus on getting on those LBs when it comes to bravery regardless. I honestly wish I could help more than this, :<

It can be time consuming and irritating but I do it mainly to try for the LB as well as for completing quests. In addition, I have a breeding project with X and TB to breed a high rated new line from wilds that is as unrelated as possible to any lines currently in the game and am working to have higher bravery ratings in those new lines as well. It was a tedious process to get all of my horses bravery rated but worth it now as I only have to spend time exploring to complete quests or rate all my two year olds and wild captures. Keeping my quests and project goals in mind is the only thing that helps me tolerate exploring.

Bravery breeding is nuts. I have several horses that are on the Bravery breeding leaderboards. But I have never had anything over a sub. i don't breed for bravery.

I'll give it another shot and see if it's any better... It'll be the fourth time I try to start something bravery-related. Unsure if it'll last more than a season or two, but maybe I just need a horse that I feel super dedicated to.

I casually Bravery Breed, but mainly use Captured horses.

I do it because I am hoping the explore mechanic will get a huge update and become a lot more fun. So i'd like to be ready.

My idea on the Explore Suggestion Thread gets me a little excited and inspired, even if only parts of it get implemented.
https://horseeden.com/forums.php?f=48&t=18036&n=explore-suggestions&page=23

I'd love for explore to get a lovely update to give players something else to do other than Show and breed. I do believe this will happen eventually as Eve grows the game. We just need to continue our support.

But yes, it is sometimes a drag.

This. On my main account, I did bravery for a good half-real-life year before going away from it completely. I just could not stand it any longer.
