With eyes i tend to look at real life horse eyes! But usually I make the whole eye black then with the desired color i make kind of a little U ish shape at the bottom of the eye and i usually bring it up a little to make it kind of a cicle and i just add highlights and shadows and where ever the light is coming from i usually take a really light blueish color or a really light color of the lightest on the bg and use that as a highlight :D If you need anything else explained better feel free to PM me <3
