(Black Pseudo Dun- PD) - This mutation is characterized with deep black coloration from the whithers, down the dorsal, and the end of the tail. As it nears the head it begins to darken significantly. Any white markings or patterns will appear to run in erratic motions, always being broken and expressing as little as possible. The Black Pseudo Dun mutation is a the result of the over abundance of melanin only found in the genetic material of the dun dilution (DD/dd). This mutation will ALWAYS show, meaning that this mutation will always be dominant; PD/PD or PD/n. Anything with the recessive pd alleles will automatically be lethal. Going back to the white, the mutation, as stated before, is a overabundance of melanin, meaning that it restricts the white! So a medicine cap F.E.D with the Black Pseudo Dun mutation will show very little to no white markings, appearing as a cryptic or a solid! I'm willing to go into further analysis if needed!
