10:41:39 Gosh took me a bit but everything organized |
10:09:09 Witchypoo but...since you only have a few that need to be changed to AD, you can do it yourself easy enough |
10:07:19 Witchypoo the BM can do that for ya |
10:05:37 There all horses switched now I gotta figure out how to switch the riders |
10:00:02 Witchypoo nothing less than EEE mares |
09:59:18 Em Anyone have tips for getting good foundation broodmares for breeding |
09:53:48 San Yes I always hire only AD riders. I only have one horse training in AD but even he is with an AD rider - though BM recently hired a Dressage rider for him which had other (AD) horses assigned. Glad I noticed it on time to switch to AD |
09:52:33 My barns are horror films right now |
09:51:42 Loony Anyone free to race??? Any level will do |
09:51:32 Ven Using SD riders is a waste of money, yeah. Eventing riders work just as well |
09:51:26 DD (#2) You can also put AD riders to SD horses |
09:51:20 Ye lol everything is flipped everywhere needs a huge fixing |
09:50:49 Someone told me if I put all the horses i have to train all disciplines I can get rid of the riders that are for certain disciplines and pay less so I would make more |
09:50:41 Witchypoo You can change training thru the barn manager. I can see the need re-arranging. Some Xcountry riders are on dressage horses. lol It is a mess. |
09:50:23 Loony Oops sorry I’m abit behind |
09:49:51 Loony Dawn what do you want to do that would mean you have to do this??? * intrigued |
09:49:13 Ven The ones you already have have built up experience that you'll lose if you fire all |
09:48:51 Ven Make all of your riders Eventing and reassign/consolidate them, then fire horseless riders |

I got this idea recently and absolutely loved the thought of two of my favorite OCs (who happened to already be best friends) had a video diary that started out as a 5th grade project and ended up lasting until their sophomore year before the camera they'd been using broke. The two of them never ended up getting a new one, but they were able to save 6 years worth of friendship on two SD cards. Feel free to read along, as I'll try to post an 'entry' per day. But please refrain from posting and instead PM me with questions or comments, thanks ! :D

September 1st, 2014 (5th grade) "Is this thing even on?" Cole squinted at the camera, tapping the black screen. It flicked on, and his eyes widened. "Now it is. I can't believe it even works. Or that we're doing this dumb project." Zach scoffed, sitting next to him. The two boys had managed to dig an old video camera out of the many boxes in Zach's garage, after needing it for a school project. "Did you grab the question thingy?" Zach felt around the cement to find the sheet of paper their teacher had printed out with questions. "Uh...yeah." Cole held the paper up, placing it on the box in front of the camera. "So how do you make it record?"
"I think it is." "Oh. We should start and get it over with then." "Youre right. So, stupid question number one, how old are you...?" "No, how old am I. You're asking yourself, remember?" "Right. Whatever. I'll just answer for me then. I'm uh..sixteen. There." "That's not how it works, Zach!" "Eh. Next question...since we're doing this in groups or pairs or whatever, are we still friends? Like, in the future?" "You're so nonchalant about this."
"How do you even know that word?" "I know more than you think." "Oh really? Then you answer for us now. Are we friends in the future?" "Yes, because we're basically opposites, but understand each other better than anyone, or no because we're fighting over something stupid and acting like drama queens." Zach pursed his lips, setting the paper down as he stared with raised eyebrows at Cole, who had his arms crossed over his chest and his head held high. "Wow. That's actually really accurate. Anyway! I give up with these questions. Because no, I won't be in a relationship whenever I decide to rewatch this and cringe at myself, and same goes for this kid." He pointed at Cole, who scoffed. "That could be a lie." "Pfft. I doubt it. And no, I probably won't know where I'm going to college yet. And I definitely won't have moved out already." "I can agree with those." Cole nodded with a sigh. "But if I do have a girlfriend, is she cute or did I end up with someone as weird as me?" He smirked at the camera, causing Zach to roll his eyes and laugh. "The second one for sure." Cole scoffed again, slapping Zach on the shoulder. "Hey! You never know, maybe I'm hot in highschool." "Again, doubt it." Zach shook his head. Cole pouted, crossing his arms again. "Anyway, this was kind of fun, so maybe I'll make another one tomorrow." "We totally should! Let's see how many we can make until this thing decides it's gonna die forever instead of just needing to be charged." "Alright, well, it's dinner time and he's stuck spending the night...again." Zach pointed at Cole with a shrug. "So I guess I'll keep this thing so I don't lose it. See you tomorrow." "Why'd you say that?" Cole asked, standing up. "I dunno. Maybe we'll rewatch these and cringe at ourselves." After that, Zach stopped the camera, snapping it shut and zipping it back into its case before taking it with him back into the house.

September 2nd, 2014 "Don't record me! I look like a nerd!" Cole whined, turning his head away from the camera. "It's just braces, stupid. It's not like you're gonna die." Zach snickered, lowering the camera a bit. "So? I look weird and practically the only things I can eat are popsicles and bread." Cole barred his teeth at himself in the bathroom mirror. "Then just have a popsicle sandwich." Zach shrugged. "I don't see a problem with that." "What- That's not even- Who are you and what have you done with my actually sensible best friend?" Cole furrowed his brow, facing Zach again. "Oh I'm still here, don't worry." Zach laughed. "Well then. I still hate these things. And they don't come off until middle school! I know that's next year but still! I think it's seventh grade anyway! I have to wait two years to get my normal mouth feeling back." Cole complained. "I've been blessed with perfect teeth." Zach teased. "You've been blessed with perfect everything." Cole scoffed, lifting his lip as he stared at the braces in the mirror again. "Except friends. I don't have perfect friends." "We both know I'm it perfect, but who's better? Me or Luke?" "Uh...Luke for sure." "What!? That's not fair! I've known you longer!" "But he speaks fluent French and English. Not to mention he's rich." "That has nothing to do with anything!" Cole scoffed. "It has anything to do with everything, actually." "Whatever. I might look like a nerd but you're the real one here." "At least I don't cheat off of my best friend's perfect score tests." "Pssh. I only do that because you let me." "Oh yeah? Well next time I won't. Let's see how you do then." Zach smirked. "Fine. You're on. But turn the camera off before you use up all of the battery." Edited at July 29, 2020 09:26 PM by Marauders Manor

September 4th, 2014 "So what's this about?" Luke tilted his head at the camera in front of him and the others. "Zach and I are doing a video thingy and we might as well introduce you because you're our friend." Cole explained quickly, sitting in front of the camera, which was positioned on a log in the small wooded area on the school yard. "Cool! Are you doing every day?" Luke sat cross legged behind the two of them. "We're trying. Forgot yesterday." Zach shrugged. "I think it's recording. Hard to tell since this thing is so...hard to understand." "But you're good at controlling it." Cole shrugged, adjusting the camera so all three boys were in the frame better. "Just don't be too loud. You'll blow our cover." Zach added. "Je l'ai!" Luke nodded with a grin. "English please." "Got it." "Thanks." "You know, you two should take French next year in middle school. Then I won't have to translate." "It's not our fault we didn't grow up in Paris." Cole laughed. "I just got lucky." Luke shrugged. "But it's not like I'm an actual immigrant or anything." "No, you're just a bilingual blonde idiot who can't seem to forget that his friends don't understand him when he's mad or excited." "That's one thing Luke does when he's like that." Cole whispered to the camera. "He starts ranting or gets all happy in French and nobody understands what he's saying." "It's just a thing I do, okay?" Luke scowled, pursing his lips. "Yeah, he's weird. But our break is almost over. We should go before we get caught." Zach said hurriedly, turning the camera off quickly.

September 5th, 2014 "Okay, so like, I'm stuck at Zach's house again since my dad is home and y'all know how my dad is." Cole shuddered, holding the camera up a bit. "But I'm gonna guess I'll be here another week until he leaves to go hook up with some other bi-" "Cole!" Zach hissed, glaring at him from the desk he sat at. "If my parents heard you say that they'd kill both of us!" "Oh please. I've heard worse coming from that not so innocent mouth of yours, idiot." Cole smirked. "I don't swear though!" "Yeah, right. Because it you keep saying that it automatically makes it true." "Whatever. I'm trying to finish my math homework so can you shut up?" "Uhm, no, I don't think I will. I'm not even goons do the homework. It's stupid." Cole deadpanned. "You're stupid for not wanting to pass fifth grade." "I'm gonna drop out at some point anyway, we both know it." Cole shrugged. "I can see that, yes, so maybe you being smart doesn't matter." "See? Now you're being sensible." "Hah! I'm far from sensible. I actually have a life plan." "Well I don't. What's first on your life plan list then, smarty?" "Get a girlfriend." Cole laughed hard at that. "You do realize both of us are going to single forever, right? We're not popular or rich and bilingual like Luke, and we aren't jocks. We're never getting girlfriends." "Says you. Don't lose all hope before we're even old enough for them." "Give me one person who would go out with losers like us. That short blonde girl in Luke's class?" "I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not." "What's that?" "Nope, not being sarcastic. But I doubt it. She's gonna be one of those mean cheerleaders when she's older, I can tell by her high pony tail and short skirts." "If she is I owe you fifty bucks. If she's not you have to ask her out." "That's not fair but okay, deal. Now do your homework or I'll kick you out." "Ugh! Fine. But just so you know, you're no fun." Cole groaned, before shutting the camera off.
