| That's crazy Jer. I remember when I told my mom I wanted to play violin she tried convincing me to play cello bc that's what she always wanted to play when she was a kid but her grandma wouldn't let her. (for context my mom lived with her grandparents, her mom died at a young age :( |

| I hated it lol. I always skipped private practice, only went to the class. I never wanted to play the cello. I wanted to play the flute but my mom made me play the cello because a girl that I was friends with that lived down the street played the cello and "if I needed help" I could get help from her. Jokes on my mom she moved like a year after I started playing. I always drove my teacher nuts, he hated that I was talented (2nd chair out of 12) but gave zero shits |
