When you have a bad day and the world just wonÂ’t let anything drift away, write through it. Write through the pain and the agony, the whispers of the night. Write about the things you feel, what you see in the shadows on the wall, and the way you see the light. Write about the people you love, the ones who donÂ’t know it and the ones who do. Write through the missing of a someone you thought youÂ’d never have to miss, write through the minutes of waiting for something to finally go right. Write through joy and love and grace, embrace it and make it immortal, invincible to pain. Write through the demons that wonÂ’t let you give up your mistakes at night, write away the tears staining your heart. Write away the feeling of loneliness, get to know the beings who are as friends to only you. Write through worlds, write through wars, write through the beginnings and the endings. Write through the storms that you face, write through the warmth of a heavenly embrace. Write through the fear of feeling like nothing, write through the darkest of days.
When you are living it up, knowing the good life, write through it. Write it all down, cherish the thoughts and memories. Cherish the simple bits of nothingness and all that happens in between. Write through the not-knowing, write through the knowing-everything, write through the worry that youÂ’ve never known anything at all. Write through it. The pen as your angel, the ink as your thread, holding on, hold on. Write through it to the end.
