I showed irl yesterday and my w/t/c English class was... eventful. As soon as we all started cantering one horse started full on bronking and thankfully his rider stayed on, and then a different horse freaked out because of this and her rider went over her head... and then yet another horse started bronking. I was smack dab in the middle 🥲 eternally grateful my horse is bomb proof xD

This mostly just happens in places like Wattpad, but when instead of dialogue, they go:
Main Character: Words
Other Character: Words
Is it that hard to write proper dialogue? It’s a weird pet peeve but if I see that in a book, I will definitely not be finishing it.
