It’s not bad for them it’s a pain killer. My grandma gives it to one of her mares with arthritis in her back. Since she gallops and every now and again she will start running and throw in a few bucks. Tanglewood said:

i had a horse called baleria she was a arabian appaloosa she was a show horse and me and her were at a show and she broke 2 of her legs and i broke my rist and i still hear her to this day her cries for help i still miss her soooo muck
