"We both know that I am already dying, Selene." He reached up and wrapped his hand around the back of her neck before bringing her face down towards him. He pressed his lips against hers softly, causing a shiver to go up her spine. He pulled away, her forehead resting against his. "I love you, Selene." He whispered softly.

That was not fair that he was saying that before he dies. "I love you too." She choked out. She never told him as they would've been forbidden to be together if others found out about them. "Please don't leave me after saying that." She grumbled, her eyes closed as tears leaked out of her lids.

He chuckled slightly, a deep rumble in his chest. "Just keep fighting, darling. Keep Jade safe." He pressed one last kiss to her lips before his last breath left his body, his whole body going limp and the light leaving his gorgeous eyes.

"Zeke?" When he didn't answer, she knew he just slipped through her fingers and that she is never going to see him again.

She let her head fall onto his chest as sobs racketed her body. She gripped his shirt as she cried, her heart aching of lost. The one person that she learned to love is gone and she was never going to see him again. She lifted her head up, her eyes red and puffy from her still crying. She reached up and closed his eyelids with her fingers before she stood up.

She looked up at the sky, tears still falling down her cheeks. "You happy now! Where are you guys when I need you, huh?! Zeke is now dead because of you! Don't you dare expect any help from me when you need it!" She yelled up at the sky, her hands into fists at her sides.

She dropped her head, her chin hitting against her chest as her hair fell around her face like a curtain. Her hands went up to her face, covering her eyes as the tears came harder. She lost everything and Enzo is going to pay for what he has done. This was not the last time he is going to see her. Next time, she is going to approach him first and take the thing that he loves most away from him as well.

"That is not the way to go, Selene." She heard Zeke say as if he was still there.

She dropped her hands and her eyes settled onto his body. He was right. That was not the right way to go. It was showing that she only wanted to take revenge on someone that he loves because he took something from her. She will figure out a way to kill Enzo. He better be prepared as it is going to be one hell of a nasty fight.
