One day, Maya was in class when a fire alarm sounded. "Hey, is there a drill today?" She called to the teacher, Ms. Langley. "No, I don't think so." Ms. Langley said, as the students got into a line. "I'm scared," Ellie whispered."

This is going to be a story that anyone can add some to please don't add things that don't with with the story and keep it PG (13 at most) I'll start (I have no idea):
A girl named Maya had a best friend named Ellie, together they were in 7th grade and these are their adventures |

As they ran outside Maya thought over and over, "please let this be a drill" |

Ellie glanced around nervously, almost shivering in fear. “A-at least we won’t have math... heh heh.” She half joked, scooting closer to Maya. Maya gave a weak smile. “Ya. Sure.” She mustered. “Hush!!” Ms. Langley scolded the two as she ushered her kids outside. |

Mrs. Langley counted her students over and over again, secretly fearing one of them had remained inside.
Maya and Ellie held hands to avoid getting separated until everyone was finally still. They watched nervously as more and more students came out of the school.
"Do you smell something?" Ellie asked, her voice full of dread. |

"Yeah." Maya said. At that time Ellie gasped.
She pointed toward the building and Maya followed her gaze. The fire billowing orange and yellow. Big grey clouds covered the sky. |

Instantly students began screaming and crying. The teachers tried to keep everyone calm but could not. Sirens began blaring all around the terrified school-goers. "Oh my!" Maya exclaimed. Ellie was too shocked to say anything at all. |

Ellie suddenly burst out, "My phone is in there! And my sketchbook!!"
Maya grabbed Ellie's arm, shaking. |

"Oh my!" Ellie momentarily wanted to run back inside to get them, but she knew she could not. Her eyes watered at the thought of losing her sketchbook. Her mother's birthday was only in a couple of days, and Ellie had been working on a special drawing for her. |

Maya gazed at the fiery building in terror. Sirens bellowed all around them and the heat from the building reached her, even as far away as she way.
Ellie shook her head in disbelief. "This cannot be real!" |
