He had to go back there, a place he had vowed never to return to. Jax had to do it for her. He played with the strings on his hoodie as he waited for the train to arrive at his stop. Jax glanced up and briefly studied the crowd. The hustle and bustle of city life was getting further away as the train moved from stop to stop. He finally heard the announcers monotone voice “now arriving at Malic”. Jax pulled his hood over his head and slung his backpack over one shoulder. He walked along the platform avoiding everyone’s gaze. As he walked further into the town, he heard a car behind him. It couldn’t have been going that fast but it was following him nonetheless. The wind blew the hood off his head, he could still hear the engine behind him. A similar car started towards him from the other direction. He was trapped...she had led him to an ambush but why?The cars screeched to a halt blocking him in a dark ally way. Jax could attempt to fight and perhaps he could win...but the chances of that were low, you couldn't succeed; not when the heavens were against you. Jax watched as the men stepped out of the vehicles, they all carried varying types of weapons. "Stop freak" one yelled.Jax moved towards them when a dart hit his side. He stumbled and fell. The next few hours were a blur, he awoke chained in a brightly lit white room. "LET ME GO!," he yelled.

Jax was confused, he didn't understand what these people wanted, as far as he knew he was the same as everyone else. He sighed and closed his eyes, he woke to a hand on his shoulder and a tall man stood nearby. Jax groggily sat up only vaguely aware of the other person in the room, "and what do you want," he demanded.Upon closer inspection Jax noticed the man was well muscled and had a commanding presence. The man chuckled , "do you even know who I am child?" He asked.Jax responded to this with an eye roll, "In case you haven't noticed, I've been kidnapped and chained to this wall here...so I don't know and don't care" The man smiled at this "dear boy, you are my son"This time Jax actually laughed "you aren't the first person to tell me that"Before the man could finish his captors walked in. The man said only one thing before he disappeared "If you need me say my name"Jax was confused, how could a person just disappear?He wondered how he was supposed to call if he didn't know his name.The captors walked over to him and roughly hauled him to his feet "Tell us everything you know" they said.Jax looked at them "tell you what exactly"One of the captors rolled their eyes and pulled out a knife. Jax felt his knees buckled, he was held upright by the other captor. He was terrified, he tried to move away as she walked closer with the knife. She held it close to his throat before quickly stabbing his side. He screamed and they let him drop to the floor. He could barely watch them walk out. The last thing he remembered before he blacked out was the word he muttered, "Lucifer" |

Jax awoke to an excruciating pain in his side. How wasn't he dead? The amount of blood he had lost, he should have died. He noticed the man was back, it looked like someone had bandaged his wound. "What do you want?" Jax asked.The man smiled "have you figured out who I am yet...you called for me before you passed out"The memories came flooding back, that man...the one who claimed to be his father was the devil. "Lucifer?" Jax asked.Lucifer nodded and smiled "so do you believe me yet?"Jax sighed, he was slowly coming to terms "so, let me get this straight, I'm the son of the devil and the devil is you?"Lucifer nodded , "correct, son"Jax sighed...he didn't understand...none of this added up. "Ok...so why aren't I dead" he asked.Lucifer went to respond but the captors walked in "don't tell them anything," he said before disappearing."Tell who?...who are they?" He yelled desperately.He assumed Lucifer could teleport...but what did his captors want. He winced as he was roughly hauled to his feet. "Are you ready to talk yet...son of Lucifer"Jax shook his head and frowned. How did everyone but him know what he was.He needed to figure out who they were. He was the son of Lucifer...but who was Lucifer.Lucifer was a fallen angel...the devil.Who hated his father enough that they wanted him too?
