Sometimes I'm so tense that I can't focus on media, so I get that.
My go to is hp audiobook or a bookclub podcast about the shadow hunter series.
Sometimes it's a cooking review show on yt.

Sometimes either sitting with the feeling helps (or I just anxiety paralyze) - or try a task. It can be simple like brushing your teeth or getting a glass of water. Something to make you move and also have the feeling of accomplishing something.

My therapist just taught me - Progressive Muscle Relaxation.

It was really helpful in calming down to a level state after having intense feelings (anxiety gets to me all too frequently)

Lol, i hate it when people play calming music, its so irritating. Mother's a therapist and her favorite sentance is "just take a deep breath".

Yes. For some reason I still have this haha. It is from 8th grade, so no judgement haha.

Shall you never read this book as it may cause harm you wouldn't believe. I skimmed off the book. Crack. Something hit my window. As I stared out my window something walked closer and closer. He or it, was wearing a dark leather jacket close to black with holes in it. I turned around grab my phone and look back out the window. He was gone. Thud, Thud, Thud. I heard walking up my stairs. They creaked loudly throughout the whole house. I hid under my bed quickly without trying to make noise. My door creaks open. I peek out the side of the bed and no one was there and my door slammed shut. Something grabs my feet and pulls me out from underneath the bed. He was there. He covered my mouth so quickly that I couldn't make a noise. His eyes sickened me, they were like blades cutting into my stomach. His mouth was covered in blood. It slowly falls off his chin and lands on my bare legs. The man has a quote on his arm. ¨The marks humans leave are too often scars.¨ Moments later I became numb. The man jabbed his fangs in my neck. ¨Shall you never read this book as it may cause harm you wouldn't believe.¨ The man said shortly after. The book. Maybe the book was right. The man stopped and wiped his mouth then continued again. It was the end. They are real. They are coming to get you.
