<div align="left"> The wind blew through the forest. The night sky was covered in clouds. The air was thick and smelt gross. I ran through the forest, jumping over ditches, fallen trees or streams. I sucked the air in and out quickly. I came to a stop. Was I far enough away? Had I escaped it? Was I free? Even if I wanted to, I couldn't have run anymore. The adrenaline had worn off. I collapsed to the ground and leaned against a tree. Instantly, I fell asleep.

<div align="left">I had to move. I jumped up, adrenaline the only thing keeping me going. I was about to cry. Fear, anger, sadness all welled up inside wanting to explode. I tried to swallow it and ran through the woods silently. I jumped a log only to find it led to a cliff that went straight down. I slid down the cliff trying to hold in the pain as branches and rocks scraped against my skin. I stopped and took a deep breath. Nothing was broken. Suddenly, something dawned on me. Where was I going? I was lost, obviously but where should I head to? I needed to find a city or even a small town. But those beasts are looking for me, I reminded myself, they would probably be searching cities already, holding people captive until they found me. Why me? Maybe because I knew how - I stopped myself from letting that thought expand. I hoisted myself up, finding my clothes were more torn than ever before and I was bleeding quite a lot. I ripped of a sleeve of my shirt, or what was left of my sleeve, and wrapped it around my leg then tied it tightly.
