Back when I started I was able to find an almost trained E gelding and later an E mare who ended up kickstarting my interest in bravery breeding. But I might have been lucky with them, I did have to look through a lot of untrained horses to find them.

it's just that training them up takes a lot of money and time - and nowadays as you can train up to 15 a day it takes Rusty Bits too. So I normally only train those W horses I want to keep and even there I can hardly catch up on training on time. So I wonder how many trained ones are actually going on sale. But I agree that it is not worth it to buy a round pen just for 1 or 2 bravery horses. Though it does pay if you DO plan on establishing a bravery string.

W horses are best (they never spook in my experience) but E horses are very good too, they rarely spook. When you do the entire 50 turns without spooking, there's a chance of getting a sherpa map. From what I have seen, they sell for most on capture day, which is every 3 months

I do recommend buying cheap 100% trained bravery horses not ones with no training or it wouldn't be worth buying exploring horses

I do think exploring is a good way for when your show horses just leveled up you still have a way to earn a little money till they are earning you money
Santana Rising

you can explore, play the mini games and train and show your horses - any horses, geldings just train faster, doesn't mean they are necessarily better at showing.

All of them together, gelding will keep earning steady income continuously once you master it, all other are bonus income injected time by time

Chapter One

Rosemary set the box down and picked up her pen, beginning to write. Maybe writing letters was a tad old-fashioned nowadays, but Rose loved the gliding of the pen across the page.

Dear Mr. J. Brown,

I have recently bought a house from you, although we have never met. I’d like to tell you that your agent was very helpful throughout the purchase and that the house itself is very nice. I find myself at home here as I’ve never felt elsewhere.

But my main reason to write to you is this: I found a locked box in the attic that I believe may belong to you. Now, as curious as I am to what may be inside the box, I don’t think it would do for me to open it, and it would not be right for me to do anything but send it to you. That being said, is this still the right address to mail such an item to you? I would hate to send it to the wrong person.

I await your response,

Rosemary Parks

“There, that should do,” Rosemary said to herself as she folded up the paper and stuffed it into an envelope. Her long brown hair fell over her shoulder as she picked up her riding bag and stepped outside. The barn was a 30-minute walk from her house, and it was usually Rose’s exercise for the day. She enjoyed the walk, and now was a good time to take it for two reasons: Number one, she had writer’s block, and number two, the mailbox was along the way.

She made her way off of the street and followed the forest path for a bit before turning onto the drive of the barn she boarded at, Misty Hollows. Her old pony Gracie and Blu the colt called to her from the pasture as she stepped into the barn and over to her locker. Pulling off her walking shoes, she shoved her feet into her riding boots, tying her long hair back into a braid. Grabbing Blu’s halter and two carrots, she stepped back out towards the pasture.

Blu trotted over to her, and the pony walked behind. Other horses raised their heads to acknowledge her presence as she stroked Gracie’s weathered cheek, slipping her a carrot. “hey sweet girl,” She said, smiling as her childhood pony nickered to her, “one of these days we’ll have to go for a walk, won’t we?” The mare shook her grey mane as Blu nudged the pair, eager for his carrot. She gave it to him as she slipped on his blue (what else?) halter and led him out of the pasture. Gracie whinnied once as her young charge left and then fell to eating.

CHAPTER 2

John shoved his mail into his briefcase and stepped out onto the street, locking the door to the firm carefully behind him. He made his way home and stepped into the shower, exhausted. He’d never imagined how difficult it would be to open his own law firm, or how hard it was when he had to defend people he knew were guilty. Stepping back out of the shower, he pulled some leftovers out of the fridge and stuck them in the oven to heat up. He was too tired to cook tonight. Sitting down, he picked up hid briefcase and pulled out his mail. Thumbing through junk mail and letters he should have left back at the firm to look over tomorrow, he sighed. John didn’t have the energy for this tonight.

Tucked underneath a coupon (ten per cent off of a new lawnmower) and an important looking copy of one of his client’s documents, a small envelope caught his eye. Pulling it out, he tore it open, intrigued. When he saw the cursive slant across the page, he was confused. Nobody sent handwritten letters anymore. This was unusual, and he glanced down to the bottom of the page- the letter was from somebody named Rosemary Parks. Did he know a Rosemary Parks? John wracked his brain; was it one of his clients?

Coming up empty, John read the letter, and immediately wrote a reply.

Dear Miss Parks,

My name is Johnathan Brown, and I received a letter from you recently. I regret that I am not the J. Brown you are looking for; although I am quite curious as to what is in the box you mentioned, it would be wrong of me to say I was. I bought the house I am in from a Mr. Jethro Brown. Perhaps he is the one you are looking for. I will do my best to track him down for you,

Sincerely,

Johnathan Brown
