The sound of gravel underfoot was comforting as Kayla walked up the long driveway to her large house. She sighed, plopping down her back pack right inside the front door and taking off her boots. A long day of senior work at her local high-school had dragged her down yet again, causing her to be rather snappy and easily irritable. She chose her barn sweatshirt and her muck boots as she walked back outside. Her brunnette ponytail swung as Kayla strode past her brother toward the barn. "Damn, why you so angry?" He asked, annoyance dripping from his voice.
